"We have a few, overlapping parallel storylines in this game [...] One of the continuous stories is the evolution of your settlement and the people within it," the narrative director explained to the magazine. "And as it grows, it experiences growing pains, and as one of the leaders you have to deal with that. And you have to make some tough decisions.” Based on what McDevitt stated, it seems that the settlement will have storylines that may end up overlapping with one another and — possibly — the main story. Players will have to make difficult decisions to move the story forward, and those decisions could have 🍒a big impact on the world around them.
The news provided by McDevitt potentially ties in with that of creative director Ashraf Ismail. Ismail spoke with Kotaku earlier this month and discussed how players will have to defend their home base from enemies while forging alliances with other factions. Additionally, since the game will utilize a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:diplomatic approach, talking things out and negotiating with characters m🌳ay very well end up playing into the whole "tough decisions" aspect regarding the settlement and its people.
