It's going to be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a while yet before Prince of Persia returns. Likewise, a new 🍌Tomb Raider seems to be in early development and won't be released for some time. But what if you could get both your Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider fix with a little Deathloop thrown in for a good time loop?
Then you'd get Treasures of the Aegean, a new game coming from Undercoders and Numskull games. Billed as a comic-style 2D platformer, Treasures of the Aegean has you play as a parkour expert exploring the resurfaced island of Thera to discover the secrets of an ancient prophecy.
You play as Marie Taylor, a parkourist who teams up with a treasure hunter to explore a long-lost island that magically resurfaces one day in the middle of the Mediterranean. The goal is to not only explore the unsunken island before the world's militaries have a chance to say "no," but also to investigate an ancient prophecy and solve a terrible mystery that keeps causing history to repeat itself.
In gameplay terms, you'll parkour throughout ancient ruins by wall-running and vine-swinging your way across the island. You'll need to solve puzzles and dodge some sort of militant organization all while under a time crunch. Run out of time and the whole thing resets itself with Marie jumping out of an airplane onto the island to start exploring the island all over again.
With a hand-drawn art style inspired by European comics like The Ad🃏ventures of Tintin and Asterix, and based on real-life historical events and culture, Treasures of the Aegean looks to be equal parts fun and educational.
Treasures of the Aegean launches November 11 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC via Steam. Next-gen consoles and PC players will enjoy 4K graphics, while Switch and PlayStation players can opt to buy the game physically in both standard and Collector's Editions (which includes an art book, soundtrack, and a cloth map).
