Arguably some of the best Virtual Reality games are Beat Saber and Superhot. They capture VR technology in a fun and captivating way. The triple-A VR adaptation, on the other hand, has not been too successful. They are often small gimmicks that fail to emulate the success of the original game. Batman: Arkham Vr, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, and the terrible adaption of Mario Odyssey through the Nintendo Labo are a few examples.
Some of the better VR adaptations include Borderlands 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR, and LA Noire: The VR Case Files. It would be fun to see how more Triple-A games would do with a VR makeover. They don't have to be full-on replicas like Borderlands 2 but they have to utilize VR technology in an interesting way. This is a list of dreams, not reality, in no particular order, that depends 🌊on a well-executed utilization of VR.
10 🍬 ෴ Max Payne 3
Rockstar's follows its titular character in a game about looking cool when you shoot people. Bullet time slows down time and allows Payne to pull off some impressive moves. He also loves to dive and shoot at the same time. This is one of the few third-person games on this list because first-person adapts to VR much easier. But, the idea of a realistic Superhot is too good to pass up. It would follow in the footsteps of Superhot but 🅰have realistic graphics and a wider variety of guns. You could feel just as cool as Max Payne.
9 ✤ Dishonored 2
is one of the best in its genre for its freedom of choice and fun powers. A good VR stealth game would be fun to play and Dishonored is a great pl🐲ace to start. Hiding from enemies would be a stressful yet rewarding concept in VR if it's pulled off well. A successful combat encounter will make you feel skilled as you pull off strings of assassinations with various powers and swordplay. The concept of seeing pow🎐ers emanating out of your hand will also pull you into the world. Not to mention, the blink function - or teleportation- is already used for movement in many VR games.
8 Grand Theft♈ Auto V
A 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Grand Theft Auto VR game, taking advantage of its first-person mode, would be a breeding ground for shenanigans. That's a good thing. One of the best things about LA Noire: The VR Case Files is making Cole Phelps, a seasoned detect𝔉ive, do some stupid things. The open world of GTAV is perfect for some VR mayhem. The headset would fully engross you with a make-belief city where you can do anything you want. Many politicians would not be the biggest fan of this one though.
7 ♋ Dying Light
Dying Light, the parkour zombie survival game, had an early VR that was good but in♉complete. It showed a glimpse of what an expansive post-apocalyptic world would be like in VR. It was the closeꦍst we've gotten to be in a zombie apocalypse.
Some of the gameplay mechanics translate well, like shining your UV light and being gripped by zombies. Jumping from building to building and falling from tall heights would also be a thrilling experience. The impressive game: The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners will have to suffice for now.
6 BioShock Infinite 🍌
The sights and atmosphere alone are enough to warrant a VR adaptation. Columbia, the city in the sky, would be a miraculous sight in VR. The feeling of looking down into the clouds and zipping across the sky with the skyhook would♐ be thrilling. The clunkiness of the shooting also fits into VR rather well - one controller would control the gun and the other controller would control the plasmids. Sad🎶ly, the game is old and is no more. It's unlikely we'll ever see a VR adaption.
5 ജ Man of Medan 🐎
Man of Medan is part of The Dark Pictures anthology series developed by the creators of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Until Dawn, Supermassive Games. It's a choice heavy horror game that relies on jump scares. Until Dawn had a VR adaptation called Rush of Blood but it did not capture the essence of the original. Resident Evil Biohazard showed that horror VR works well. Man of Medan could add horror to stressful choices and it would be🅰 a tru꧃e rush of blood. It could be one of the scariest VR games out there.
4 Portal 2
Portal 2 is a highly regarded puzzle game that can only be described as a masterpiece. It had witty humor and complex puzzles. The puzzles were difficult but fair, in other words, they were never infuriating enough to make you quit. Using the portal gun would be a fun and exhilarating experience in VR. Walking through portals, floating through beams, and being swung through the air are all fitting for VR. The only problem is that it may be a bit too nauseating. Right now, though, Valve has their hands full with another VR title: .
3 ඣ LittleBigPlanet 3 🌱
This entry is inspired by Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, a platformer for PlayStation VR. In Astro Bot the player serves as the camera as they follow ASTRO thro🔯ugh platfor﷽ming challenges. Most people agree that it's one of the best experiences on the PSVR. A LittleBigPlanet VR game could follow in the same footsteps.
The movement of one's head could reveal alternative paths or puzzle solutions. The user creation aspect of LittleBigPlanet could allow players to experiment with VR technology as well. The simple graphics and creative platforming is perfect for an Astro Bot: Rescue Mission inspired game.
2 𒈔 The Outer Worlds
Skyrim's success in VR gives me hope for this entry. A VR adaptation would give newcomers another reason to jump into and it would encourage older players to replay the game. The Outer Worlds is a sci-fi RPG with a vast amount of choices and playstyles. The planets in Halycon are beautiful, which is perfect fo🍎r an immersive VR experience. This is one game where full VR integration൲ would work well. It's another way for Obsidian to get people excited for their series as they look forward to a sequel.
1 Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 takes players to Hope County, Montana ܫwhere an evil religious cult rules the land. It's not that sophisticated but it's fun fueled chaos. It's also an excellent setting for a VR game. The wildlife alone would make for an exhilarat༒ing experience. Getting attacked by a grizzly bear in VR would be a one of a kind experience. In fact, everything would be heightened in VR from the shooting to the driving. The chaos and shenanigans of Far Cry 5 is fitting for a fun, albeit crazy, VR game.
