Team SoloMid has officially won the biggest tournament VALORANT has seen thus far. The champions took down the hosts of the event, T1, in a clean 3-0 series sweep in🦹 the finals.

Coming into the event as one of the favorites, TSM dominated their opposition, going 3-0 in the group stage, and dropped only two maps in the playoffs to the orgless Together We Are Terrific and T1. Matthew "Wardell" Yu was the clear star of the tournament, proving to the world that no one can match his skills with the Operator𒐪. Wardell fielded the highest KDA (Kill, Death, Assist) ratio while simultaneously having the lowest deaths per map with 1.69 and 11 respectively.

Taylor "Drone" Johnson propelled his team with some mind-boggling pop-offs while Ste💃phen "reltuC" Cutler and Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik put their opponents to rest. With veteran James "hazed" Cobb le♛ading the way as the TSM in-game leader, no one was able to come close to touching the talented squad.

Although the majority of the limelight rightfully went to the victors, TSM weren't the only ones who impressed the North American VALORANT fans. Despite losing their own event, T1 was the clear-cut second best team, never dropping a map to anyone besides TSM. Cloud9's Tys𝔉on "Tenz" Ngo went absolutely off, posting a whopping 23.4 kills per map despite his team not making it out of the group stage.
