Twitch streamer JiDion has been permanently banned following 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hate raids and misogynistic comments made toward Pokimane. He appealed to lift the 🐭ban, but that appeal🌸 has since been denied.

Numerous content creators including Keemstar and JiDion told their followers to spam Pokimane's chat with abuse, even going as far as to entice them to DM viewers that were donating to her in support. One of the platform's largest streamers, Ninja, also stood up in defence of JiDion while calling Pokimane a "bitch".

In response, Pokimane flagged JiDion for breaching Twitch's terms of service: "It's embarrassing, and if you get banned, I'm not even gonna be sad," Pokimane said. "I'm not gonna apologise. You did that shit to yourself, bro." He was banned and, at first, it was for two weeks. However, it has since been upgraded to a permanent on♔e.

"My dislike for her has nothing to do with her gender, but her as a person," JiDion said. "I'm not here to talk about why I got banned because I deserved to get banned. It is what it is. I broke the terms of service. But what I am here to talk about is that I'm here to ask Twitch to make it fair." While he claims it has nothing to do with her gender, many of his comments were em🗹broiled in gendered criticism that we've seen time and time again on Twitch such as her using her looks to make a career on the platform.

And while he claims to have accepted the 14-day ban, JiDion isn't happy with Twitch's decision to permanently ban him from the platform. But what's particularly disturbing about this is that other large streamers publicly stood in support of JiDion, even furthering the misogyny with their own comments.

JiDion has since penned an apology to which Pokimane replied, "I'm glad he apologised and told his viewers to chill. I hope he does better in the future and that this is the last time I have to talk about this." He added, "Happy you heard my apology and I will do better. Keep having an amazing career!"

JiDion is no longer able to stream, but whether Twitꦬch will take action toward others who partici🍸pated in the hate raids remains to be seen.
