168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Two Point Hospital sees us running a medical facility and curing weird and whacky illnesses. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Two Point Campus builds on that further, maintaining that same lovable and zany Two Point humour while offering even more creative control for players and introducing us to various silly and sensational educational courses as we run entire universities. Now, the series is heading in a new direction with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Two Point Museum.
Two Point Hospital will always have a special place in my heart because Theme Hospital, which two of the founding members of Two Point Studios worked on, was one of ▨my favourite games as a kid. It was heartwarming to see this familiar gameplay and brand of humour given a new lease of life with all the benefits of a modern title.
I was excited when Two Point Campus came along because it was more Two Point. Th🌺e same quirky humour and gameplay, but a new setting and even more options. What’s not to love? It was only when I was introduced to Two Point Museum that I realised how quickly I fell off Campus and just how much more I’m looking forward to this new entry.
Museums are all but uncharted territory for the business management sim world. Hospital and Campus are top-tier games, but we’ve seen other notable iterations of hospital and school sims in the genre. I can’t say the same for museums. I’m sure there have been some examples from over the years, but none that have really struck gold and become an icon in the genre. Two Point Museum will🌱 change all that. After my time with the game, I’m confident it will set a new bar for both the series and the world of simulation.
Museum takes the series back to a pure sim gameplay loop. You have an attraction, customers visit and pay you money, you use this to improve the facility, rinse and repeat. You must balance entertainment with information to encourage donations and increase the buzz about your exhibits. Creativity is key in Museum, not only from the perspective ❀of the players who have more freedom than ever but in terms of what the Two Point team has de💃livered with fresh and exciting ideas.
Players can now build partition walls and archways, and you don’t have to keep things confined to🌜 specific rooms but can create bespoke themed areas however you like. Now you can also place one-way doors and staff-only doors, allowing you to fine-tune your museum experience into an efficient business. If you really want, you can create a bespoke one-way system to maximise your earnings and ensure your guests see all the awe-inspiring exhibits.
Of course, there are more types of wallpaper, flooring, and decorations to play with, ☂not only with generic museum decor, but items that fit with the different themed exhibits, all of which 💫allow for endless gameplay opportunities. For the preview, we delved into the Pre-History exhibit theme. Think weird and wonderful Two Point humour in the form of uni-horned dinosaurs, neolithic statues of floppy disks, fossils, and more.
The Pre-History theme includes frozen artefacts that need to be looked after. If you don’t keep them cool, they’ll melt, leading to the frozen caveman wreaking havoc on your museum, or a frozen fish to flop around pathetically💝. Pre-History is just one of many themes that will be available at launch, and while we didn’t get to see any of the others, we know Ghostology will be included. Spooky occult museums?♋ Yes, please.
The biggest change to the series in Museum is the new focus on exploration. You can send staff out on expeditions to unlock new exhibits or even new areas to explore. Some exhibits, such as dinosaur skeleto꧃ns, are found in fragments, meani🌌ng you must explore more than once to assemble the whole skeleton. What you find on each expedition is random, with the helicopter bringing in a fresh crate each time, like an exciting gacha mechanic. What’s in the box?
You’ll have to train different staff with specific speciali♔zations to embark on certain expeditions, and each adventure has a range of events that can happen, both positive and negative. Depending on what happens, you might find the exped🎃ition takes more or less time, maybe you’ll earn more XP or quality modifiers, or perhaps it’ll inflict status effects on your staff members, such as tarry boots when they return to the museum that leave a horrible trail wherever they walk.
Taking certain cargo with you can affect the expedition. A First Aid Kit removes a potential risk, a Haggling Handbook reduces the cost, and Journallin꧙g Equipment increases staff XP. There are other cargos that you can unlock as you progress, with some being more limited than others, so you’ll have to use them wisely.
You’ll also encount💞er obstacles that you must overcome to unlock new areas, and some events will prompt a response from you, like a choose your own adventure book. Perhaps your staff spot a secret cave, do you go in, or do you ignore 𝓡it? The outcome of expeditions changes depending on your preparation and decisions.
Two Point Studios also wanted to give players a reason to return to their past museums, rather than completing a level and👍 never touching it again. With this in mind, the game offers more than the usual three-star system. There are extra objectives after earning all your stars, and as you progress through new museums and unlock new content, you can return to old museums to add new exhibits.
For the first time in Two Point County history, kids are also involved. These little rascals don’t care for boring old museums and will cause chaos if not properly entertained with interactive displays and fun things to do. You’ll also have to hire security guards to protect against vandals and thieves. It sounds like running a museum will be an absolute handful—I can’t w🐲ait.
Two Point Museum is shaping up to be the most original and unique instalment in the series to date. The little peek I had has whetted my appetite more than any game in the series so far. Launch is still a long way off and there’s plenty we haven’t seen yet, so as much as I’m excited for 🌱what I have seen, I’m also excited for what has yet to come.
