Riders Republic is finally available to the masses, but bringing the gigantic title to life wasn't easy. Red Bull has been filming the game's development over the past year – and it highlights the challenges involved when creating a new IP that relies on real-life locations.
The documentary from Red Bull Gaming is brief (clocking in at just over 15 minutes), but it offers one of the deepest looks at the game's development yet to be released publicly. From translating National Parks into a playable world to using cinematics to move the narrative forward, there's a lot of ground covered by the film.

"Conquering the mountains is the name of the game in Riders Republic - and both need to feel as real as possible," said Red Bull Gaming. "We take a peek behind the scenes of Ubisoft 's latest extreme sports thriller in the latest episode of our gaming show."
