Ubisoft is proud ꩲto be the last publisher standing on the bo💛nes of the long-since discontinued Nintendo Wii.

Wii. It’s a console we haven’t heard from in many years. Nintendo discontinued their little white box with nunchucks in 2013 and finally stopped supporting the Wii Shꦑop earlier this year. As far as we were concerned, the Wii was to become just another legacy console to find one dayღ at a thrift store.

However, before we completely write off the Wii, we have to remember that there are A LOT of Wiis out there. Nintendo sold over 100 million Wii consoles in its day, and a lot of them are still out there being played by parents and ൲their kids. And Ubisoft is all too happy to give them what they want.

And what they want ℱis apparently a new Just Dance game.

Ubisoft 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:announced Just Dance 2020 at their E3 keynote this year, and included on the list of supported consoles was the Nintendo Wii. As surprising as it was to see an 8-year-old console lined up with modern hardware like the Nintendo Switch,ཧ Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, what might be even more surprising is that Ubisoft do👍esn’t find it strange to be programming for ancient hardware at all.

In an interview with , Ubisoft EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Executive Director Alain Corre s𒐪aid that they were proud to still be supporting the Wii even after Nintendo had long since given up on their old hardware.

“I ဣthink we are the last soldier standing! We are the last game on the Wii and we are happy about that as there [are] still a lot of fans wanting to play on it,” said Corre. “Now we see they are going to the Switch and at the end of the year that Just Dance 2020 will be one of the best games on the Switch because there are more and mor𒁃e families playing on it, as it was in the Wii times.”

Ubisoft has an ambitious plan to get 5 billion players in th⛎eir games, and with that sort of number in mind, they’ll need every 🌌one of the Wii’s 100 million players on board.

Just Dance 2020 releases Nov💃ember 5th for the Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and strangely enough, the Nintendo Wii.
