Now, it appears the popular series will be making a comeback — that is, if a new domain name registration is any indication.

Obviously, this suggests that we will be getting a new Prince of Persia installment at some point in the future. This is further suggested by a recent Prince of Persia event in Ubisoft's For Honor.
The most recent Prince of Persia-related title to come out was 2018's Prince of Persia: Escape, which was a mobile game that wasn't quite as𝔉 well-received as previous entries in the series.
Before the mobile title, the last core game in the series was The Forgotten Sands. Although this entry didn't quite live up to 2008's Prince of Persia reboot, it was nonetheless a solid game, and there has yet to be a proper follow-up. If the domain name accurately indicates that there is a new Prince of Persia game in the works, then hopefully it's under w🐠ell-guided development.
