Ubisoft might bring back the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game.
Some of you might not have seen the best movie ever made based on the best comic book series ever made. Lucky for you, there are of acquiring either the movie or the comic book, both of which are equally good and so worthy of your time that you should really drop everything that you’re doing to consume this mღedia immediately.
Done? Great. Now that you’re up to speed, we’ve got news for you: there’s also a Scott Pilgrim video game.
Or at least, there WAS a Scott Pilgrim video game. Released in 2010, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game was a pixelated beat-’em-up based on the comic book t𒁏hat let you play up to four-player co-op as you fight your way to defeating Gideon Gordon Gr🃏aves and his retinue of Ramona’s Evil Exes.
Sadly, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game was only around for four short years on the PS3 and Xbox 360’s online storefronts. The game was pulled in December of 2014 for unknown reasons, but everyone just assumes that the license expired and was never renewed🍰.
But maybe-♒-just maybe!--Scott Pilgrim is🍌 coming back.
Comic author Bryan Lee O'Malley recently tweeted the poignant thought of "bring back the scott pilgrim game," to which Ubisoft's official account responded with the thinking emoji. Ubisoft both developed and published the Scott Pilgrim game, and therefore likely still has 🌺the license.
On t🌠op of that, Ubisoft PR girl Belinda Garcia at around the same time and also retweeted the official Ubisoft response to O'Malley's tweet. Coincidence? Mayb𝐆e. Or maybe there's something going on behind the scenes.
Could it be that Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game is set to return to the PlayStation and Xbox storefronts? Will we get a limited physical release? Or maybe an HD remaster? Who knows.
