Ubisoft says they’ve heard from the players and they will fix Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint arrived last September, and unlike the prequel, it came without a flood of sales. Most of that had to do with the fact that the game was critically panned across the board. gives Breakpoint a score of 50-60 ac﷽ross the various platforms, with user scores as low as 20%.
Our own review rated Breakpoint at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:1.5 out of 5, lamenting the game’s repetitive missions, dull story, incongruous systems, technica𒊎l glitches, and “scummy” monetization model.
Ubisoft even acknowledged Breakpoint as a flop, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:publicly announcing that they will delay the arrival of Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Watch Dogs Legion in order to ensure they don’t come out of development as half-baked as Breakpoint. The French publisher’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:stock price immediately tumbled following the announcement.
However, Ubisoft isn't abandoning Breakpoint. They've recently announced that they're going to stick with the new Ghost Recon game to the bitter en🦂d, saying that they're🌠 in it for the long haul.
But first, they took the time to deeply thank the dozen or so people who did actually purchase Ghost Recon Breakpoint. "We can’t stress enough how much we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about the game. And while these first weeks have been rougher than expected, we are taking your feedback to heart," the company wrote. "We deeply care about this game, the Ghost Recon fr♈anchise and yoꦆu, our community of players, and are committed to improving it."
The plan to improve Breakpoint involves five easy steps. Step 1: squash bugs. Ubisoft pointed out they've already squashed tons of bugs in the f💧irst few patches, but the next update will do that to the Nth degree. That patch will come out mid-November.
Step 2 will involve post-launch content to expand on Breakpoint's dull world. Special events will be added, including Project Titan, Breakpoint's first-ever Raid, as well as a tie-in with the Terminator movie after tha🦄t. Expect Project T📖itan to arrive in December.
Step 3 will be adjustments to the in-game economy, which players have complained about since launch, and step 4 will improve the friendly AI. Finally, Ubisoft will address Breakpoint's tiered loot progression and providꦯe players with 🗹greater freedom of choice for their loadouts.
"We are working on a more radical and immersive version of Ghost Recon Breakpoint," the developer con🐓cludes. We'll have to se🦋e what that means in the coming months.
