Starfield, the new space epic being developed by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bethesda Game Studios, is the first new franchise in twenty-five years from the creators of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout 76. Although not much is known about the RPG, executive producer Todd Howard has stated that Starfield will see the light of day before 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Scrolls 6, the follow-up to The Elder♓ Scrolls 5: Skyrim, which was released on November 11, 2011.
Bethesda's E3 2018 Starfield teaser trailer only offered a brief glimpse of a space station nearing an unrecognizable planet before disappearing into a cosmic hole. In a conversation 𓆏with Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb on his official Xbox Live podcast about the acquisition of Bethesda by Microsoft, Howard said, "I t🍒hink it's getting really good hype for a game no one has seen."
Howard added that the game is currently in a playable mode at the studio, stating, “We’ve been talking about it for a decade, we started putting things on paper five, six years ago, a🧸nd active development was from when we finished Fallout 4, so two and a half, three years.”
At E3 2019, Howard told Elon꧒ Musk that space travel in Starfield will be “like flight in the '40s,” adding, "It's still dangerous to go 𒊎and explore, even though lots of people do it. We have to gamify it some, so that it's not as punishing as actual space travel."
In his conversation with Musk, Howard revealed that he had visited 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Musk's SpaceX for r♚esearch and inspiration. He also mentioned that Helium 3, a light, stable isotope of helium with two protons and one neutron that was discovered in 1939, might fuel Starfield's ships. Everything seems ൩to indicate that the game will be more grounded in reality than science fiction.
Last September, Microsoft announced that it had agreed to acquire ZeniMax, the parent company of Bethesda Game Studios, for $7.5 bil♐lion, wi🍸th the deal to close by the second half of 2021.
