Hearth & Home has finally arrived in Valheim. T𝕴he long-awaited expansion brings a revamped food system, new build options to turn your V൲iking longhouse into a longhome, as well as optimizations and bug fixes galore.
But as hinted at in Tuesday’s fir𝓡eside chat with Valheim’s developers, there were a few surprises hidden in Hearth & Home that Iron Gate never disclosed. There's to discuss, and also some important Lox-related news.
We’ll first start with blocking, which received a complete overhaul. HP now “greatly affects your ability to block attacks,” and there’s a new stagger bar telling you how much more yဣou can block before you stagger backward like a drun൲k. Keep this in mind when you’re trying to stop your next Troll attack.
A new auto-pickup toggle button has been added so you can decide when it's time to overflow your inventory with stuff or when it's time to turn the floodgates off. There are also new plantable seeds for agricultural work (Birch, Oak & Onions) and a brand new way to get rid of unwanted items.
The Obliterator is a long-requested solution to Valheim's problem of too much stuff. You can drop unwanted items in Valheim, but they'll just stick around for a very long time, resulting in Viking trash dumps. The Obliterator solves this problem by letting you place your unwanted items inside and then calling upon Thor's wrath to vaporize everything.
There are also some new mechanics for tamed beasties. There's a new friendly fire option that prevents you from damaging tamed beasts unless you have friendly fire toggled on or unless you're using the new Butcher Knife item, which lets you butcher your beloved boar for Sunday night dinner. Also, the Tamed Lox now serves a purpose: love.
There are also two totally new weapons, the Crystal Battleaxe and the Silver Knife, as well as two new shields: the Bone tower shield and the Iron buckler. Plus there are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:12 new food items to discover and chow down.
