Unmissable Characters
These characters are available in every single playthrough of the game - ༺the only way to miss them would be to ignore them after they pop up during your Spiritual Concen🧸trations in each chapter.
Some of these characters may be recruited in one of multiple chapters - this is determined when🐬 you begin the game and adds a little variety to different playth⛎roughs.

Characters Exclusive To Normal And Hard Mode
If you are playing on Easy mode, you will not be able to get these characters, and some of them are exclusive to Hard mode specifically.
The final three characters are only in Seraphic Gate, which is an optional dungeon unlocked after beating the game. It is accessible in all playthroughs, but some areas are exclusively unlocked in Hard mode, and this is where you'll find those characters.
