168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth has a lot of interesting and complex mechanics one of which is the Evaluation system and its relationship with unique and extremely valuable items strewn throughout the game called Artifacts. These are designed specifically for the Gods, and must be sent up to Odin, God of Gods, upon discovery. Otherwise, you'll take a penalty to your Evaluation score, which determines which of the game’s endings you receive.

Luckily, you can counteract this penalty by sending up Einherjar—characters you’ve trained by leveඣling up and improving their traits. However, if you’re concerned about maintaining a high Evaluation rating and want to know wꦡhat to prioritize, here’s a list of the best Artifacts to hang onto in defiance of the Gods.

10 The Mask of the Dead King 🦄

Akhetamen rising from his grave in Valkyrie Profile

A lot of the best armor in Valkyrie Profile can only be equipped by warrior-type characters, leaving♛ mages and archers with very little to protect them outside of being placed in the back row of your party formation. However, when playing on Hard Mode, you’ll encounter an artifact in the Tombs of Amenti that can help address this issue.

After beating a particularly nasty boss called Akhetamen, you'll get the opportunity to keep the Mask of the Dead King. This Artifact is the second-strongest helmet in the entire game, and, unlike most of the other strong armor, it can be equipped by any character, thus giving your mages and archers a much-needed defense boost.

9 The Eternal Lantern ⛎ ♈

Fenrir freezing your characters in Valkyrie Profile

Toward the end of the game, you'll encounter an extremely difficult boss called Fenrir. He has a huge stock of HP, powerful attacks that can nearly wipe out your entire party, and, worst of all, a lot of his techniques have a chance to cause Freeze—a status effect that will make characters immobile until they are hit by another attack.

Fortunately, you can make your entire party immune to Freeze and greatly reduce Fenrir’s difficulty by finding the Eternal Lantern in a late-game dungeon, The Citadel of Flame. After defeating the dungeon’s boss, you'll find three of the best Artifacts in Valkyrie Profile - one of which is the Eternal Flame. Simply having it in your inventory will protect every character in your party from being frozen - no equipment slot is required.

8 Ambrosia

Valkyrie Profile Lenneth - Tombs of Amenti Teleporting Stone Heads

This consumable Artifact is extremely straightforward: use this on a character with low DME (Valkyrie Pro𓆏file’s version of hit points), and their vitality will increase by 6,000. Needless to say, this is extremely helpful—especially for some of the more fragile magic users in the game.

There are only two places in the game where you can obtain this incredible gift: one after defeating Akhetamen in the Tombs of Amenti, and the other is a possible drop after defeating Fenrir. For the additional buffer from death that the Ambrosia might provide one of your glass-cannon mages, it's absolutely worth taking the 1-point EV penalty for this life-giving Artifact when you first encounter it.

7 Infernas

Syo using the Infernas on Mandragoras in Valkyrie Profile

Found in the Citadel of Flame is the Infernas: a burning greatsword with some remarkable stats and a full, three-hit moveset. Those qualities alone make it a great weapon, but what truly elevates it to must-have status is its special attribute that will cause instant-death 💜to enemies weak against fire. This completely removes the threat of several of the game’s toughest bosses, such as the Mandragora and aforementioned Fenrir.

The only drawback to using Infernas is that, being a sword completely engulfed in flame, the mere act of holding it will cau💟se damage to its wielder. This results in any character using it losing three percent of their DME per turn, so keep that in mind when choosing a warrior to wield it.

6 🐻 Theไ Hourglass of the Gods

A screen showing how much time is remaining in Valkyrie Profile

One of the most interesting mechanics in Valkyrie Profile is how time passes in the game. The game plays out in eight chapters, each containing 16-28 periods, depending on difficulty, and eacꦕh time Lenneth visits a town or dungeon, 1-2 periods will be consumed. This prevents you from revisiting dungeons and grind🎀ing for experience points indefinitely, making time one of your most valuable commodities.

And that’s why the Hourglass of the Gods is such a great artifact: consuming it will earn you back five pe♒riods—more than enough toꦑ revisit a few dungeons for more EXP before facing a difficult boss that might only exist in a particular chapter.

5 🐷 The Golden Fo🐬wl and Holy Grail

Finding the Holy Grail in Valkyrie Profile

This spot goes to both the Golden Fowl and Holy Grail, as they have almost identical functions. Throughout Valkyrie Profile, you'll very occasionally find items called Golden Eggs and Holy Drops. These items, similar to the Ambrosia Artifact, will permanently increase character stats when consumed.

The Golden Fowl and Holy Grail Artifacts are essentially factories for these items, and will produce an additional four Golden Eggs and one Holy Drop for each chapter they are in your inventory, respectively. You'll find the Holy Grail at the end of the Solerno Academy, and the Golden Fowl at the end of the Oddrock Caves—both are absolutely worth keeping.

4 Grimrist

Using the Grimrist on a Dragon Zombie in Valkyrie Profile

At the end of the very first dungeon in Valkyrie Profile, you'll be presented your first set of Artifacts: the Sealed Box and the Jewelled Blade Grimrist. On paper, Grimrist doesn’t sound terribly beneficial to your quest—it only has one attack slot, very low accuracy, and 100 attack power. That said, Grimrist’s true purpose will reveal itself at a time when you need it the most.

During each chapter, there is a chance that a Cave of Oblivion will appear. The enemies you'll face in these dungeons will typically be far greater threats than their contemporaries in any given chapter. In particular, you are almost guaranteed to encounter enemies called Dragon Zombies, which are nigh impossible to defeat until the endgame under normal circumstances. However, with the Grimrist equipped, you'll perform incredible damage to them.

3 🍷 The Coin of Fortune 🍸

Accelerated level progression from using the Coin of Fortune in Valkyrie Profile

At the end of the Cave of Thackus, you’ll encounter the Kraken: a fairly tough enemy that can one-shot weaker characters with powerful magic. This battle also functions as a bit of a tutorial about elemental weapon propeꦉrties, as the Kraken and its entourage of giant grabs are weak against fire. But this quick lesson in battle mechanics isn’t the only reward you’ll receive for challenging the Kraken.

After defeating the Kraken, you’ll find the Coin of Fortune—a very simple, but very valuable Artifact that will put any character equipped with it on a fast tr🍸ack towards development. The Artifact increases its user’s gained EXP at the end of each battle by 60 percent, s🐎o the benefits here are quite obvious.

2 𝓡 The Tear of the Cosmos and Holy Water of Mithra📖

Using the Holy Water of Mithra on the Wraith in Valkyrie Profile

The third and final Artifact you can acquire in The Citadel of Flame is absolutely the most useful. Beside the Eternal Lantern and Infeಞrnas, you’ll find the Holy Water of Mithra—a con🧜sumable Artifact that will cause 100,000 points of damage to any undead enemy, and there are some frighteningly powerful ones coming up.

The Holy Water of Mithra isn’t quite unique, however. In the Sunken Shrine, you'll find an additional Artifact called The Tear of the Cosmos, which has no real purpose beyond being transmuted into a second Holy Water of Mithra. Now that you have two of them, you can make short work of the incredibly difficult undead Chapter Eight boss, Genevieve, and one of the Chapter Six bosses.

1 Theಌ Emerওald Necklace

Valkyrie Profile Lenneth - Solde Catacombs Book chest

In the very first chapter of Valkyrie Profile, you’ll find the Emerald Necklace at the end of the Solde Catacombs. Equipping this accessory on one of your characters will increase the amount of Capacity Points they receive upon leveling up by 100. Towards the beginning of theꦉ game, this might not sound like a big deal, but as you raise Einherjar and mold them into personalities more befitting of divine service, you’ll understand the gravity of how important this accessory is.

Capacity Points are used to acquire skills, and their application there is quite obvious. More importantly, however, is that Capacity Points are also used to adjust an Einherjar’s personal characteristics, increasing their Hero Value. Being able to increase a character's Hero Value much faster will be an invaluable benefit of the Emerald Necklace from Chapter One until the credits roll.
