If you know what you're doing, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth usually isn't that tough of a game. With the right party setup and the right combat strategies, you'll come out on top of every random encounter without breaking a sweat. The bosses, however, are a different kettle of fish.
Even the veteran Valkyrie Profile fans might struggle with these bosses. Whether they're a bit too strong for where they're placed in the game, come with nasty gimmicks that force you into a strategy that you're not used to, or are just plain tough, they all provide quite a bit of difficulty.
10 Kraken
The Kraken of Sunken Cave is a pretty nasty boss in that it's meant to be a tutorial for what happens when you go up against an enemy with more RDM than you can cope with. The result is a brutal beatdown as you struggle to pump out as many Fire Storms or Fire Lances as possible.
Its weakness to fire severely hampers how difficult a boss it can be, since you're likely to have multiple sorcerers with fire spells by the time you face it, but it's a rude awakening nonetheless. Let's hope you're packing some high-damage gear to compensate for the Kraken's high defenses!
9 Chimera
What makes the Chimera, found at the end of the mind-bending puzzle of the Clockwork Mansion, so threatening is its opening salvo - Three Deck. This multi-hit attack affects the entire party and will inflict some of Valkyrie Profile's nastiest status ailments, including freeze and poison.
Even surviving the attack is a challenge unless you've been 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:leveling up carefully, and if you're left with a frozen, poisoned, weakened party, you might as well hit the reset button immediately - Chimera's normal attacks don't tickle, they hurt.
8 Wise Sorcerer & Dragon-Tooth Warrior 🏅
Despite being available only in the Easy and Normal mode-exclusive Black Dream Tower, this dual boss is up there with the Hard mode exclusives. Playing this fight like a normal encounter is a bad idea, as taking out the Dragon-Tooth Warrior first will severely empower the Sorcerer, and you can't easily destroy the Sorcerer with your physical attackers.
Instead, the best way to take on these bosses is to use magic attacks and bows to defeat the Wise Sorcerer first, and this is going to take time and effort to accomplish. The fact that they're the bosses of a long, maze-like dungeon doesn't help things.
7 Hel🐻 Servants
Another dual boss, and this time there's an even worse gimmick to contend with. Not only do the Hel Servants have very powerful spells that can destroy your party members quite easily if you let them get even slightly low on health, but they will revive each other if they spend a single turn alone.
This means that eradicating one of the Hel Servants to reduce the incoming damage you're suffering isn't really an option - you have to whittle both bosses down simultaneously and try to take them both out on the same turn. Fail, and you've made things even harder on yourself.
6 Wraith
By the time you take on the Sunken Shrine and its boss, the Wraith, you're bound to have some knowledge and experience with Great Magic. They're the ultimate attacks of sorcerers, and among the most threatening moves in the entire game.
Well, the Wraith can use one of them every other turn. Gravity Blessing deals a monstrous amount of damage and will outright obliterate characters who don't have any 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:resistance against lightning attacks - sometimes even if they do. Preparation is the name of the game with🏅 the Wraith.
5 Dark Lord
Remember the Wise Sorcerer and Dragon-Tooth Warrior from earlier? Well, take their gimmick and add in some Wraith. Dark Lord is protected by some Demons, but as soon as you deal with the weaklings, he'll come forward and absolutely ruin your day.
Luckily, the Dark Lord does nothing until his front line ar🧔e dealt with, so slowly getting rid of his health pool is the best way to come out on top in this fight - but there are simply so many ways to mess things up that this fight will give you the heebie-jeebies whenever you face it.
4 Genevieve
Originally appearing as an unremarkable enemy encounter during an Einherjar recruitment cutscene, Genevieve has had quite the glow-up as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the boss of Celestial Castle, a floating, beautiful fortress꧒ filled with danger.
A consummate spellcaster, you'll want Reflect Sorcery to deal with Genevieve and her cronies, lest you end up on the receiving end of a brutal barrage of the game's strongest spells, including the ferocious Poison Blow, which Genevieve loves to use on your most vulnerable units. Come prepared or don't come at all.
3 Akhetamen
Featuring two mummified servants, a whole host of nasty spells, and a huge health pool, Akhetamen is a fitting boss for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the marathon that is the✃ Tomb of Amenti. He's another spellcaster, and he's very good at it - his Seraphic Law is a holy-elemental nuke of massive proportions, and you'll need some specific equipment if you want any hope of survival.
Compounding this boss's ferocity is the fact that he can cast Heal on himself, which prolongs the battle and turns it into a war of attrition where the other side has the most resources. You'll need a lot of burst damage to deal with this mummy.
2 Loki
As the final boss of the 'true ending,' Loki is understandably rough to face. He has the highest health pool outside of the post-game megadungeon and is another boss that loves to spam hard-hitting Great Magic attacks, such as Carnage Anthem and Dragon Orb.
This is the final boss, so the game has no qualms about forcing you to use everything you have at your disposal - you'll need your strongest weapons, as many healing items as you can muster, and the strongest Einherjar that you've spent the entire game training.
1 Bloodbane
Bloodbane is a brutal boss who ends up being the hardest enemy that you face in both the B Ending and the A Ending - though he's only optional in the former, thankfully.
This dragon has a ton of brutal fire-elemental moves that will utterly decimate your team unless you prepare for them specifically, and he can surprise you with a sneaky element change to lightning with Gravity Blessing if he wishes - be wary of Wrai🍰th flashbacks.
It's great, then, that Bloodbane will drop the best sword in the main game when you beat him, Levantine, which you should immediately grab and use to beat up Loki.
