Snakebite
Snakebite is a canister that explodes into a pool of acid once it hits the ground. Any enemies that walk through it wi꧅ll take damage, but it won't be enough to take down an armored enemy with full health. This ability lasts for eight seconds and the damage taken by enemies permanent compared to some of her other abilitꦗies.
One of the best things about Snakebite is that it has a long range and can bounce off walls. It's ideal for blocking off pushing enemies or flushing them out from their hiding places.ꦏ Unfortunately, Viper also takes damage from Snake Bite, but at a lo🍨wer rate than other players.
Poison Cloud
Poison Cloud deploys and emitter that creates a toxic gas cloud. Any enemy that walks through the cloud will experience and health reduction until🔴 they get out. This 🌠ability relies on Viper's gas meter, and when the meter runs down, the Poison Cloud disappears. The emitter remains in place and Viper can either activate it again when her meter rises, or she can pick it up to re-use later.
Just like Snake Bite, Poison Cloud effective at long distances and can bounce off walls. It's a great way to set a trap because it's remote controlled and can be deployed from across the map. This abili☂ty is very effective at blocking off areas when attacking or defending.
Toxic Screen
Toxic Screen is Viper's signature ability and is very effective. Toxic Screen throws down a line of emitters that brings up a wall of🔯 toxic gas and enemies who try to get through take damage. This ability has a very long range, but is also dependent on Viper's gas meter. Once the meter gets depleted, the wall comes down. However, her meter doesn't take long to charge and you can raise the wall again if you like.
Thanks to the sweeping range and remote activation, Viper can activate the Toxic Screen from anywhere on the map. This makes it very useful as a "door" that you can open or close at will. Toxic Screꦍen can also be picked up a redeployed elsewhere.
Viper's Pit
Viper's Pit is Viper's Ultimate and probably the best weapon to lock down an area. This ability emits a huge toxic cloud and lasts for as long🌺 as Viper stays inside it. If she steps out it stays up for a few seconds, but if she doesn't get back in time it will go down. Anyone, including allies, who step into it take damage. Enemies wh💫o step into the Viper's Pit also get highlighted for her to take down easily. One of the other effects of Viper's Pit is that it enhances Viper's ability with close-range guns like pistols and shotguns.
This ability is best used when guard🌃ing the spike as it has an extremely large radius. It's also effective as a decoy when attacking because it can push enemies out of its way.
Tactics
Viper's abilities are great for attacking or defending, but you have to keep an eye on the gas meter and time them just right. some of them also work well with each other. Snake Bite works well when placed beside a Toxic Screen or Poison Cloud. Unsuspecting enemies will walk through blindly and get a nasty surprise. You can also place it within a Viper's pit for an added layer of protection around ꦅthe spike.
Viper may be 🉐a bit more complicated to use because of her gas meter, but once her abilities are mastered, she's a formidable presence on the battlefield.
