Blinds are an essential part of Valorant. Limiting your enemy's field of vision can ensure your survival, whether you are pushing a site or just trying to turn a corner safely. In Valorant, blinds are divided into two types: Flashes and Nearsights. These skills are exclusive to Initiators and Duelist agents and generally have two charges, each costing 250 credits.

Flashes are skills that, as the name suggests, brightly flash a player's screen when looked at. The blind duration varies between abilities and how directly the player looks at the flash, but generally speaking, they last for one to two seconds. When affected by Nearsight, a player's screen darkens, and their vision is reduced to only a few meters. Both are powerful debuffs, and with the proper utilization, they can determine whether you win or lose a match.

10 Prowler

Enemy Fade's Prowler Turning A Corner

Fade's Prowler skill functions like a hybrid version of Skye's Guiding Light and Skye's Seekers. When used, Fade unleashes a Prowler creature forward that can be controlled if you hold down your left mouse button. The Prowler lasts 2.5 seconds and can Nearsight any enemy it hits for 2.75 seconds, but it moves at a snail's pace, making it easy to destroy before it hits.

Marking enemies with Fear Trails significantly increases the Prowler's movement speed, but this also results in the Prowler leaving you in the dust and unable to take advantage of the Nearsight debuff.

9 Seekers

Skye's Seekers Hunting Down Enemies

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skye's Ultimate, Seekers, creates three slow-moving creatures that automatically move to the three closest enemies to Skye. They last 15 seconds, and if they hit an enemy, they Nearsig🥃ht them for three seconds and slow their movement speed by 60 percent for five seconds.

The problem is that the skill has a high ultimate charge requirement of seven, and the seekers themselves are incredibly easy to kill. Generally, they are more useful at showing enemy locations oไn the map than t🃏hey are as blinds.

8 ♊ Flashpoint 🐬

Breach Activating His Flashpoint

Breach's Flashpoint is a powerful blind that travels through walls and has a two-second duration. The skill is great at flashing sites and corners with minimal risk of blinding friendlies but falls short of other flashes since it requires a wall to be used.

This means that wide-open maps like Breeze can make the skill all but us๊eless. Flashpoint is much more situational than other Flashes when coupled with the Flash only blinding on the opposite side of the wall it is used on,

7 Curveball

Phoenix Throwing His Curveball To The Left

Being able to swing around corners, Curveball is great for pushing entry points in maps. The blind is fairly straightforward and flashes the enemy for one and a half seconds. The problem is that the Flash is difficult to run in with since it detonates after half a second. This makes for tight timing when your team is trying to push a site and can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:often end with you blinding your team along with the enemies.

A great way to mitigate this con is by using the Flash after entering a site, using Curveball's pathing to have it activate behind you, saving you from blinding yourself while still crowd-controlling the other team.

6 🔴 FLASH/drive 🐬

KAY/O's FLASH/drive Being Thrown With Primary And Alternate Activations

KAY/O's FLASH/drive is a throwable Flash that has two settings. The primary left-click throw detonates 1.6 seconds after being thrown, while the alternate right-click toss activates after one second.

This variable activation is great for different situatio🌊ns, and since the Flash is on a timer, it makes it easier to coordinate with your team when used. The alternate toss is amazing for quickly flashing through doorways, but just be careful not to accidentally blind yourself when pushing in with it.

5 Blindside

Yoru's Blindside Bouncing Off The Ground

Blindside is a straightforward Flash that blinds enemies for 1.75 seconds. The ability has great range and activates after bouncing off of a surface, making it perfect for flashing inside areas with multiple tight corners. Blindside also has an amazing range, capable of outranging Skye's Guiding Light if thrown properly.

The downside is that the bounce is required, and a botched throw will easily blind teammates. One way to get the most out of the skill is to set up Yoru's Fakeout while the enemy is blinded, making them think that you are pushing your Flash and potentially blinding them a second time.

4 Paranoia

Omen's Paranoia Launched Forward

Omen's Paranoia is a Nearsight that moves in a straight line and covers a fairly large area. It can travel through walls and will blind any player that it comes in contact with for two seconds. Unfortunately, it affects all players. This includes your own team, so poor communication can lead to you blinding your own teammates, leaving them vulnerable to any enemies outside the blind's range.

Another downside to Paranoia is that it only has ✅one ꦿcharge, making it difficult to choose whether to use the ability to push site or save it to hold site.

3 💖 Guiding Light

Skye's Guiding Light Flying Forward

Guiding Light, more commonly referred to as Hawk, is a fully controllable blind that is great for flashi💎ng down long corridors or around multiple corners. It can also disrupt enemy crosshair placement without flashing since Guiding Light is usable without flashing at all.

Enemies will instinctively look away from the hawk to minimize the two-and-a-half-second blind duration, allowing your team to push sites safely. As an added bonus, the skill is Skye's signature ability that refreshes after 40 seconds, making it the only rechargeable Flash in the game.

2 Leer

Reyna's Leer Floating In Front Of Her

Leer is one of the most annoying Nearsight abilities in Valorant. The floating orb Nearsights any enemy that looks at it, and while it only lasts for 1.6 seconds, it forces the enemy team to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:flick their crosshair away from you, allowing you to safely get kills.

As an added bonus, the skill only affects enemies. When paired with Reyna's Empress Ultimate, it allows you to completely lose the enemy if you've managed to score a kill.

1 FakeOut

Yoru's Fakeout Running Past Him

Yoru's Fakeout creates a clone of Yoru when activated that walks forward in a straight line. The skill only has one charge, but it is the most versatile blind in Valorant. It can be delayed and activated at a distance, forcing the enemy team to decide whether the clone is the Yoru.

If they guess wrong, Fakeout fಌlashes, blinding any enemy that is looking at it. With a low cost of 100 credits and being a great distraction, it is hands down the best Flash in Valorant.
