6 Jett
Fan-favorite duelist Jett comes equipped with the shortest smokes in the game, through the Cloudburst ability. She’s a useful agent who can get onto a site in the blink of an eye, but this makes her Cloudbursts self-serving. While some high-ranking players are good enough to singlehandedly take on the enemy, Jett's smokes don’t benefit her team.
Cloudbursts only last four seconds, giving only her enough time to utilize them effectively with her d𒆙ash. Anyone that attempts to use the Cloudburst for cover will be caught before they can cross a choke ൩point. However, Jett deploys them faster than any other Agent with smokescreens.
5 Cypher
The Sentinel Cypher uses the ability Cyber Cage, which isn't a traditional smoke. However, it functions similarly — Cyber Cages obstruct vision for seven seconds, making it the second-shortest time frame for a smoke in the game. This is because Cypher operates more as a defensive Agent, meant to stall the enemy team with his gadgets.
Much like Astra’s smokes, these gadgets can be activated from anywhere on the map, allowing different teammates to utilize them while Cypher is off-site. Unfortunately, once a match starts, Cyber Cages can't be retrieved and repositioned, limiting Cypher’s ability as a dedicated smoker. Furthermore, Cyber Cages are hollow, which can be beneficial or detrimental.
4 Viper
Viper is equipped with two different effective smoke abilities. First, her normal smoke grenade, known as a Poison Cloud, can be strategically placed and retrieved if an audi🌱ble is required. Viper’s gadgets have an additional feature that reduces opponents𝐆’ health points when they pass through them, making the enemy think twice before hanging out in the middle of a Poison Cloud.
Her Toxic Screen also provides sufficient cover, allowing Agents to 𓆉get on site unseen when attacking, or forcing attackers to rethink their strategy when on defense. While her Toxic Screen has a good amount of range, usually separating an entire site, it can’t be repositioned once deployed.
3 Brimstone
The first dedicated smoke agent on the list 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:is the Controller, Brimstone. He’s been around since the game was in beta, when his utility made him a must-have✃ on the team. This seasoned veteran come🃏s equipped with three Sky Smokes that can be deployed within a certain range from his location on the map. Brimstone brings up a mini-map to choose the precise location to deploy each smoke.
His smokes are dense, and sufficiently obscure vision for your team. Unfortunately, he’s limited to three Sky Smokes, making it paramount that he only use them when the team executes their attack. His limited range also makes it vital that he sticks with the team. He may not have the best smokes in the game, but they do obscure more than others — they're not hollow inside, preventing Agents from dueling within the cloud.
2 Omen
The last two Agents are top-tier competitors who each have their merits and drawbacks. Omen is a mysterious enigma of a character with some of the best smokes iღn the game. He’s seen some changes since beta, but ultimately remඣains near the top.
He gets to use two smokes that each recharge after 40 seconds, making him a versatile Agent and great for late-game strategies. While his Dark Cover doesn’t last as long as Brimstone’s Sky Smokes, 15 seconds is a good amount of time to stall the enemy or give your team an advantage. Omen is excellent on attack or defense, capable of getting your team on-site or 168澳洲幸运🌳5开奖网:preventing the spike from being defused.
1 Astra
There’s no con💯test for Astra when it comes to Agents with smokes, as she is the most versatile of them all. This controller places four Stars anywhere on the map and uses them for any of her abilities, two of which can be bursts of smoke.
The enemy can see the Stars, but because of her versatility, they never know which ability will be deployed. Her Nebulas (smokes) are as big as Omen’s and last for just as long. Since she’s not limited by range to place her Nebulas, Astra can help fake out the enemy team or get yours on-site to plant the spike. Then there's her ultimate ability, the Cosmic Divide, which creates a giant opaque wall through the map, obscuring sight and sound.
