Ever played a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:VALORANT match that felt like pulling teeth? Well, players won’t have to deal with that for much longer—senior producer Ian Fielding has announced that Patch 1.02 will be introducing a surrender♏ function to the game.
The announcement was made in , the first of the developers’ “Ask VALORANT” series. The post didn’t go into much detail ✃beyond confirming that the surrender function would be introduced and further explained in the Patch 1.02 notes. However, data miner🤡 how the surrender function will work when it launches.
Apparently, players will only be able to surrender after the 8th round, and only once per half so that players cannot spam the surrender option. Furthermore, it seems that players will need to queue their surrender vote, which will become active in the next r▨ound for the rest of the team to come to a consensus.
Executive Producer Anna "SuperCakes" Donlon confirmed the validity of the information in a comment but noted that the surrender function is still being tested. In the meantime, the “Ask VALORANT” blog post has clarified a few of the playeꦉr base’s burning questions, such as whether more guns would be inꦇtroduced into the game and how Unrated Mode matchmaking works.
While the developers are already m🍬entioning Patch 1.02,🐲 Patch 1.01 has only recently dropped. While quality of life changes have been implemented, the most notable 1.01 changes include a Sage nerf and an overhaul of Spike and Spike Rush.
The Sage nerf is simple: her cast range has been reduced from 20 to 10 meters. The developers explained that this is to strengthen her role as♑ a territory defense character. Her reduced range supposedly keeps her effective at defending territory but lowers her efficiency when capturing territory.
Most of the changes to Spike and Spike Rush center around the orbs. Games will now have a set of five orbs with randomly selected buffs. Three new types of buffs have been added: the Health Orb, which grants teamwide health regeneration, the Golde♓n Gun orb, which grants the player a one-shot, one kill, perfectly accurate gun, a💙nd the Deception Orb, which applies a 10-second “Paranoia” debuff on the enemy team. The Ultimate Orb will also always be available.
