The Steam Deck is finally here – at least for some people. And while they're playing PC games on the go, the rest of us have to step out of the house without a handheld gaming console, like some kind of freaks. Fortunately, Valve has shed some light on when we can expect our Steam Decks to arrive.
When you pre-ordered your Steam Deck, you may have seen that you should expect it around Q1 2022. Just in case you're unclear what that means, Q1 refers to Quarter 1 – or January to March. "All people who are in the Q1 reservation window on the Steam Deck store page will receive an order email by the end of March," said a by Valve.
It goes on to say that one batch of emails has already gone out, with the next batch scheduled for March 7. It also turns out weekends aren't logistically great for shipping. That being said, Valve will be sending out more emails on a weekly basis, so if you're on the Q1 reservation list and haven't yet received an email, you can expect it either on March 14th, 21st, or 28th.
But don't fret if you're on the Q2 reservation list, as Valve intends on following the same weekly batch shipping process starting from April itself. That's where the information ends – any reservations for post Q2 will have to wait for more news.
It's been a busy few days for Valve, with a whole bunch of announcements and statements coming from the company. Firstly, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Steam Deck will get a Docking Station in late Spring 2022. The official description for it says that it "props up your Steam Deck while connecting to external displays, wired networking, USB peripherals, and power.
