If you find that you're getting stuck on a level or are having a hard time progressing, consider switching over to another character to try out a better outcome.
Some characters are suited better for different levels, such as Poe with the Inlaid Library, but they can be difficult to play on other stages, such as the Dairy Plant. Getting attached to specific characters is easy, but you shouldn't be afraid to experiment a little.

Most defense power-ups and abilities are useless, so focus on improving your weapons. The exception to this is the use of laurels, armor, and luck, as they will significantly help you during the initial stages of the game. You purchase power-ups with gold that you earn while completing a run. The goldꦺ you earn adds to your cumulative totals and never goes away. On the main menu, there is an option to click PowerUp. This is where you can spend gold to purchase power-ups that apply to any of your characters. Keep in mind that some do not affect certain weapons or🐈 passive abilities, so make sure you plan your next playthrough appropriately.
You can get the gold spent🌺 on power-ups back, so you can always buy pꦐower-ups based on your chosen character or if you want to try one out. Don’t underestimate the Luck power-up as it can provide significantly more gold and upgrades during your runs.
5 Picking Level Up Rewards 🦹Carefully
You should only pick two to three of the most powerful weapons for your character as you gain levels. After that, make sure you are focusing on leveling them up with additional stats or upgrades. You can improve them by lowering their cooldown, increasing the number of projectilesཧ they fire, or their base dam♛age.

To evolve a weapon, you must satisfy criteria and reach a specific leveling point in your round. An example of an evolved weapon would be the Magic Wand and Empty Tome coming together to make the Holy Wand evolution.
If you want to check what evolutions you've made or you want to recreate one, you can check out the Grimoire in the pause menu or on the title screen. It will only update once you've found a new evolution, so feel free to experiment!

To join two base weapons together in a Union, they must be fully leve꧃led up. While most Unions do not need a passive item in your inventory, some do, so checking your evolution guide can be really helpful in plotting out your build for each round. Like evolutions, you can only create a union between two weapon🌞s after all the requirements have been met and you finally grab a treasure chest.
An example of a weapon Union without a passive item would be the Vento Sacro and Bloody Tear to make Fuwalafuwaloo. A weapon Union that requires a passive item would be the Phiera Der T꧋uphello, 👍Eight The Sparrow, and Tiragisu to make Phieraggi.
