Turns out quite a bit, because I can see the console from the corner of my eye right this second and all it would take is for me to stop typing and pick it up to have just one little go....

Anyway, the game is good, and I can’t believe it took this long to land on the hybrid console given its natural potential for an experience that is designed to be picked up and played with a decisively moreish gameplay formula. Playing it on Xbox and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation isn’t the same, and even PC requires me to hook up a controller or use keyboard and mouse like I’m some sort of nerd who loves spreadsheets. Because I was a fool, I ignored Vampire Survivors for the first several months of its existence as I failed to understand the hype. From a distance, it just seemed like another indie with sick pixel graphics that had captured the imagination of those on my Twitter timeline. Fast-forward a couple of endless evenings pimping my wizards out with upgrades, and I’d finally seen the light. Man this game kicks ass, with its Switch version only taking that reputation furthe🦩r with all the downloadable content and its extra features in the form of a local co-op mode where a friend can fi﷽nally be brought in as a companion to the chaos.
I imagine thi📖s will be patched onto other platforms eventually, and it does take a while to adjust to an extra magic spewing terminator waltzing about the screen in search of gems and whole chickens to restore their health. It works though, and it was fun to play alongside a friend and watch the minutes melt away as he focused on staying alive or building on the best upgrades we possibly could to turn even harder stages into a breeze.
Vampire Survivors is better than ever on Nintendo Switch and is one of the most replayable and rewarding games I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It embraces its retro aesthetic as it introduces gameplay ideas that are startlingly forward-thinking in how they keep the player engaged and wanting to put in just one more run. Before you know it♛, hours have va♌nished into thin air with no way of getting them back. Not that I mind, since I’d do it all over again.
