4 Halsey
Halsey, like Hilda, is a pain to deal with - at first. She’s a fairly annoying child who runs around and babbles to Leysha during her segments. Despite t𓃲his initial🐬 dislike for Halsey, she does slowly become an interesting character with a lot of nuances.
Not to spoil anything, but Halsey and her role within the story warp Leysha’s involvement in the game’s plot. Leysha slowly goes from being a major player to an independent agent doing her own thing, and this is all down to Halsey. Not only 🤡that, but the game even tackles the mental illness inherent with Malkavian vampires, and how that plays with the delicate mind of a creature forever bound as a single-digit child.
3 Richard
Speaking of mental illness, we have Richard. Richard plays a large role in Leyha’s story (backstor꧅y included) and acts as her doctor 🐓and mentor. He comes off as very cold in many of his interactions, but delve deeper and you will find a character with complex motivations that remain a mystery even as the credits roll.
Is Richard working for the eඣnemy? Is he undermining Iverson? Is he lying to Leysha? Who is he really? These are all questions that get asked and answered, but in a way that still leaves a lot of room for head-scratching. All of Leysha’s psychological dilem𓄧mas can be traced back to Richard, and these subtle manipulations can come back and bite him if you want them to.
2 Berel
Berel is many thing𝕴s. He is most certainly a snake, but also plays the role of red herring, manipulator, and child - despite his age. Berel is hard to like, and depending on what paths you take in Galeb’s story, you may never like him. However, underneath it all, is a character that bounces off of Galeb perfectly and makes him a better charact♔er as a result.
Berel is functionally an abandoned child who is constantly exposed to once-parent. He wants the attention and affection said parent is lavishing on others and will go to the extreme to make that happen. Taking👍 the time to reconcile with Berel is one of the most satisfying aspects of any side character, and it really highlights how parents can truly mess up their kids…even if their kid looks about 50 years older than them.
1 Stanford
Stanford is a fantastic character, even if he is technically a villain. He is the driving force that leads to the events of the story, but he doesn’t directly bump into every character in the game. Stanford is not a normal human. He has the power to not only repel vampires, but also the ability to control them, and, if required, kill th🦩em. He is the ultimate hunter. His motivations are well fleshed out, his character is truly abhorrent yet easy to sympathize with. After all, vampires treat mere mortals as ꦍcattle - surely mankind should rise up?
