168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Eddie Brock is lying in bed, watching TV and bantering away with Venom. Suddenly, the room begins to shake violently, the television now flickering and stuttering as a bright orange light erupts outside the window. It engulfs Brock’s bedroom. He sits up, dazed and confused. Nothing is visibly different but then J. Jonah Jameson is blasted onto a screen before him. He starts talking about Spider-Man being Peter Parker and blames him for the tragic death of Mysterio. Venom takes control and licks the TV when Parker appears, all while telling Brock that he has nothing to do with this. Yep, Venom is now in the MCU.
For whatever reason, Spider-Man villains from across the multiverse are being roped into the MCU. This includes the likes of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, and Tom Hardy’s Venom. An interesting point to note, however, is that Venom appears during the post-credits scene of Far From Home, not after Doctor Strange’s spell we see in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the No Way Home trailer. Something else appears to have summoned him unless the spell can retroactively pull people through the tim🌠eline.
It could be Wanda’s tampering with the Darkhold, Sylvie’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:unleashing of the multiverse in Loki, or something else entirely. Whatever the case, Venom seems to recognize Peter Parker due to the “light-years of knowledge” that he’s kept buried from Eddie’s psyche to stop him from losing his mind. He’s eager to go after the wallcrawler, although whether Brock will share that sentiment remains to be seen. It could be that there was a Spider-💜Man in Hardy’s universe at some point and that Venom bonded with them, but due to the lack of a white Spider emblem on their chest, that seems unlikely. The details are murky - all that’s important is that Venom knows Spider-Man.
Let There Be Carnage will directly lead into the next Spider-Man film. We know Tom Hardy is in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:No Way Home - he was spotted with a cast cap that bore the logo, so Venom may very well be a part of the Sinister Six. So far, we have Doctor Octopus and Electro confirmed, while the presence of the pumpkin bombs suggest the Green Goblin is back. The trailer also shows what many people believe to be The Lizard, and now we have Venom. That’s five. One more and the infamous squad of baddies will be complete, but who will top off the roster isn’t yet clear. Some think that Sandman appeared in the trailer, so perhaps he’ll be the one to complete the team. Venom could join forces with Parker toꦍ help defeat these villains given his anti-hero status in his own duo of films - it would certainly fit his character, but it would take some convincing on Brock’s part. Ma🅰ybe, down the line, he’ll jump from foe to friend, giving him a nice arc in No Way Home.
Andy Serkis said that Holland nearly appeared in the Venom sequel but the script was rewritten while the post-credits scene was added at the end of production: “[The post-credits scene was] 100% in flux,”𓆏 Serkis told TheHollywoodReporter. “It couldn’t have been more in flux if you tried. Of course, it was something that they talked about from before I even came onto the movie. There were moments where [Spider-Man] was going to be in the story, potentially, and then he wasn’t. But no, we decided that we wanted to really examine the Venom-verse first. So, as we are going through principal photography, the inevitable discussions had to be had, but it wasn’t until very, very late on that we reached the precise notion of the teaser that we wanted to lay in there.”
The deal between Sony and Disney that allows for Spider-Man to be in the MCU ends with No Way Home, with Holland having said that he sees it as the end of a story - perhaps the “story” mentioned is the MCU, or maybe it’s just the high school years. We don’t know yet if it will be renewed, but as Venom climbs into Marvel’s interconnected universe, it’s at least clear that Sony will be crossing over in a much larger way than ever before. Whether it continues beyond that, whether Venom goes home, and whether Holland 𒅌stays in the MCU are all points shrouded in mystery for now, but be assured that Venom🅷 will crop up again as soon as December.
