They may not always be the hero we want, but sometimes the hero we need is also a jackass. A complete unforgivable jerk in his actions or motivations, but someone♛ who ends up doing a good and saving the day anywa🐻y. The antihero that gets things done in a dirty way and is not an upstanding person.
Heck, sometimes🐈 they are even the bad guy who's story we follow as they screw over other bad guys in their plotline conflict. In the antihero story, the protagonist is just the lesser of the 2 evils, but also the outright better choice of the evils present. So here are 10 of gaming's "heroes" who 🔯are antiheroes more than they are heroes.
10 Kratos (God of War) ܫ
immediately started unnecessary wars as a god, as a big shining flipped bird to the other gods. His brutality we see throughout the franchise as he takes on other gods definitely takes thing🌊s to the💞 extreme.
He's not all good, coming from a tragic background 🐻like most heroes, but the tragic backstory has a more villainous effect on him. He's not saving anyone or upholding the good, everything he does is for his rage-filled vendetta against the gods and it's better to mow down anyone who glances at him wrong in his way.
9 ღ Doom Slayer (Doom)
doesn't care about anything really, he just likes killing demons. Hobbies can be complex and life-controlling, but Doom guy takes it to new levels, as it is his life to just murder demons, and if the pla༺net blows up along the way he's not bothered about savingꦰ anybody.
He knows the player doesn't care either, so why bother,꧟ just let humanity screw over itself. If someone is getting attacked by demons and Doom guy comes, then they're going going to be fodder as he shoots all the demons and innocent bystanders that have gotten in the way.
8 Agent 47 (Hitman) ꧒ 🎉
The perfect killing machine. It doesn't matter the good or evil nature of the target, so long as he completes his mission. There is no good intention, only an end goal𝔍, you don't fight for justice unless the assassination's alignment matches justice as w♔ell.
Civilians are just as easy targets, especially if they witness any of your crimes during a sloppy cleanup. Agent 47 is as good💧 as a villain, but we l꧃ove his games and story anyways.
7 Conker (🤪Conker's Bad Fur Day)
The crudest anthropomorphic character in gaming, Conker might as well be the antithesis to Captain America's values. Drinking, ki🍎lling, gambling, and debauchery is his game, and we play it in the platformer .
While 𒆙he is the protagonist, he doesn't morally align with any ideology, in the end saving the day is just another odd occurrence during his adventure. That and his chick was in trouble, so as long as you're Conker's side chick your safe from world doom, hopefully.
6 🌺Wario (Su🌃per Mario series)
Wario is just greedy Mario. Every single action Wario takes is in order to get more money and horde it like some Scroog🦋e McDuck or dragon and it's gold.
His humorous appearance and characteristics keep us on his side as he never does anything particularly deplorable as most of his plans are against other bad guys or end up falling flat and failing like his plots in the WarioParty games. He's not out to save the da✱y unಌless it's to significantly fill his wallets.
5 The Overlord (Overlord series) ဣ
In Overlord you're given two options as the player 🦂and overlord of this in-game world, be a flaming jerk to every citizen you conquer or do favors to get into power of people so you can rule. It's a lot more fun usually being an evil conqueror while being the good leader of a goblin army is harder.
When you're evil in this game, you are the villain torturing the masses. The antihero phase comes in if you𝓀 decide to do a mixed playthrough, then you're just the jerk who burns all the villagers' hay and beats the snot out of𒁏 that eight-year-old after you save the village from orcs.
4 CJ (GTA3)
Within the first minute of the game, you can up and steal a bike. That's the hero, watch him ride off and ജtake out three or so gangs and save the day. He does have a good heart though cruel in his actions against others.
CJ may be one of the better ones, but his means can be as cruel as the rest. ♊His morals do♔n't always align with heroism, but in the end, he gets the job done as it needed to be in order for him to be a hero.
3 Jimmy (Bull✤y)
Well as described in the title, he is a bully, just most of the school is worse than he is. Using shame, physic🎃al violence, and setups, you get back at people and do favors for others to further Jimmy's goal.
He's another case where it's his story, whether he's mostly villainous or not. Jimmy is definitely one of the🌠 less violent on the list, but is still an anti-hero by a mile, he will do the right thing even if that right thing is overkill.
2 ⛦ John Marston (Red Dead Redemption)
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:John Marston is in the right in most of what he does in the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Red Dead Redemption, h🧸e's chasing the former baddies he worked with in order to save himself and his own family. He has no trouble though gunning down those who would face him, and even looting the corpse ✤for supplies and even a hat if he needs it.
What he fac👍es are outlaws and bad guys doing horrible things around them, and tha🍃t makes the actions he takes justified as he hunts them down for the FBI.
1 ಞ James Earl Cash (Manhunt)
James is the unfortunate convict caught in a game of a greater evil forcing him to do evil things. This is another case of a lesser🌃 evil doing evil things against worඣse people.
Between killing guards and cultists through psychical and brutal ways, James is no hero by action but by being the protagoni🅰st alone. It's a tough scenario to be in, but a tough game to play to boot.
