Villains have long since moved away from the simplistic goal of🌺 trying to take the world by force, you can now observe character complexities of the human condition from the comfort of your living room. Not that you have to agree with their motivations or goals, but to experience the world through their mind.
That’s one way of thinking about it. Or, maybe you just want to experience gameplay as the villain. Nothing wrong with that either. Hell, most of the time it seems as though the villain is having the most fun any♔way, so why not step into their shoes? Below are some characters that deserve more of a deep dive than t👍hey got.
10 Revolver Ocelot - Metal Gear Solid Series✱
When you talk about 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Metal Gear series, there are plenty of complex villains you could choose from, and they would arguably be fitting to be placed o꧃n this list. Ocelot has been an agent for nearly every group mentioned within the franchise. The Master of the double and triple cross, he looked out for his one true ally: Big Boss.
It'd be interesting to go back to Ocelot's past, after he became one of the Philosophers when he was still active in the Soviet Union, or even if you were able to experience his exploits chronologically between the Phantom Pain and the first Metal Gear Solid. He's got so much history just begging to be explored.

For all the badassery Dante displays as the protagonist in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Devil May Cry series, Vergil deserves to have a turn at the helm of his own game. Sure, you've glimpsed the potential of his star power by playing the special editions of the last three games, but that simply isn't enough.
Vergil is already known for his combat prowess, so that's the easy part, but what if you could explore more of his past, or even set a course for your quest for power through his Yamato? There doesn't have to be a redemption arc for him or anything - he doesn't need it. He could go on his quest for power and still have a good time.
8 🎐 Albert Wesker - Resident Evil Series
Admittedly, this choice from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil has more to do with the fact that it would be a spectacular power Fantasy - you could teleport and martial arts your way through with passionate glee. All the positives from the virus and (almost) none of the setbacks? It sounds like a megalomaniac's dream.
As with Vergil, there isn't a need to explore the 'what if Wesker were good' scenario, he wasn't built for that. Wesker was built for power, to rule and subjugate as either a ruler or executioner. The gameplay would be so good.
7 The Boss - Metal Gear Sol📖id 3: Snake🌞 Eater

Not only was she the best soldier in the U.S. (at the time), but she was also able to shake the foundation of the country, and history, to its very core by finding and securing The Philosopher's Legacy. She lost her life to secure the safety of several countries.
Though she is initially set up to be a villain, her loyalty towards the United States was unmatched.💖 Reliving some of her best moments would make for one hell of a game.

To him, working for Shido was a simple means to an end; but eventually, all the hurting and murdering folks via the metaverse started to wear him down and made him feel guilty. Maybe if he were surrounded by friends that loved and cared for him, he wouldn't have turned down such a dark path.

No, see, Alma from F.E.A.R deserves every bit of revenge owed to her: from her father who gave her up to be used for her psychic abilities, to the Armacham Technology Corporation itself for thinking that using her was a justified means to an end. All the supernatural pain you encounter is only Alma trying to let it out somewhere.
Either that,♑ or she could perhaps exist in an alternate timeline where she has to do all she can to escape from her hell. You could help her in ways the original trilogy wouldn’t allow.🐬 At the very least, she deserves to finally have some peace after years of torture.
4 S😼ephiroth - Final Fantasy 7
There were glimpses of how it would be in the original 97 release as a temporary party member, but it wasn’t enough for you to get a feel for Sephiroth's power. Sure you got to take out a few trash mobs, but those were easy prey.
Shouldn’t he then get his own game? It doesn't matter where in the timeline it ends up, it could be before he was a Soldier First Class, or when the audience thinks that he is still alive five years later.
3 😼 Dutch Van Der Linde - Red Dead Redemption 2
The charismatic leader of the Van Der Linde Gang has a backstory as wide as it is vague. He doesn’t let a lot of his past be known, and would rather focus on his present ‘final plans’ of gathering enough money to leave and live in peace. Though he is no different from a disingenuous merchant selling snake oil, he’s gained a fꦜollowing simply by presenting himself as a family man for his gang.
There is only one scenario that would be a good fit for Dutch’s own Red Dead spinoff game: what happened at Blackwater. The game only gives a f𒐪ew tidbits here and th🥀ere, but never what fully happens. This is just to set up the future dynamic for the gang, but having a chance to see it played out would have been a worthy experience for a DLC
2 🏅 Saren - Mass Effect 🐟
You only get to see the parts of Saren that are already corrupted by Sovereign's influence and indoctrination. There isn’t much semblance to who the Turian was from before being indoctrinated.
It would be great to experience his exploits before the🅰 events of the first game. You know he just has to have some exciting stories under his belt during his time as a🥃 Spectre.
1 Emet-Selch - Final🌱 Fantasy 14
He has millennia of lives and experiences trying to do right by those who have long since passed, traveling through time and space searching for a way, any way to bring them back.
Emet-Selch as a protagonist gives you a lot of material to pick from when considering which lifetime you'd want to explore. He is a tragic character as you currently meet him in Shadowbringers, but he is a different (yet somehow similar) character altogether when you come across him in Elpis. A game starring him would be phenomenal.
