While many video games are focused 💯on individual solo play, many actively encourage teamwork and playing with friends. That is the beauty of video gaming, as when people can come together to enjoy a game, it truly is something special. However, just because a video game allows♐ for multiplay and wants people to play together doesn't always mean it's a great thing. Often it can cause huge arguments and have the complete opposite desire of building friendships.
Thankfully, to balance that there are also great games for people to play together that will create friendships and make them even stronger. Within this list, we✃ 🦋will be looking at both sides of that with five games that create friendships and five that will ruin them.
10 Ruin: Super Smash Bros. ꧒ 🍬
We kickstart the list with the Super Smash Bros. series, which is always guaranteed to cause a few argument🐈s as you play. This might be family-friendly in nature, but that doesn't mean it's always a good idea to play it with frienꦓds.
With lucky hits and overpowered items being part of the game, those situations can quite easily lead to annoying someone who feels hard done by. Even though fighting and trying toღ send your friends flying is the🙈 aim of the game, that doesn't mean it's not frustrating when it happens to you.
9 Create: Grand Theft Auto V 🍬
There is just something about running t👍he streets with a friend, causing absolute chaos that makes a very enjoyable game to play with a friend. It doesn𝓡't take itself too seriously online and that's why it's perfect.
Want to go around just having one giant drag race around the entire map? Do it. Want to scale to the highest building and d꧑ive off of it? Do it. Get a huge cop chase? Do it. The world is open for you to explore here and that's why it is perfect to play alongside someone. You can really do whatever you like and not have to worry about things.
8 ꧟ Ruin: FIFA
The FIFA video game♚ series are some of the most frustrating to play alongside friends and they are sure to put even the strongest of friendships to the test. Whether it's tactical fouls or scoring amazing freekicks, it can be very frustrating to play agai♊nst friends on this game.
FIFA is all about competition, the desire to beat whoever you're playing so if you go up agains🥀t a friend that can easily create an argument. Having to always be at your best while playing in order not to slip up, referee decisions and offsides also add-in to make this game funඣ, but frustrating. While you can play together on the same team against others, even that doesn't mean friendships will survive. After all, it is always going to be one person's fault if a mistake is made, which can lead to the beginning of the arguments.
7 Create: World Of Warcraft 🌼
Another great video game that will not only strengthen friendships but potentially build completely new ones is World Of Warcraft. Having to work together as a clan to dominate forces people to work together, 🥃even if they are strangers.
With a common goal to try and achieve together, it is easy to see why friendships are crucial to World Of Warcraft. Working together totally enhances the gaming experience for this one, which is why people wo💛rk together so closely. The beauty of this, of ಌcourse, is that even if you're meeting new people there's instantly one thing that you have in common, the game. This can then potentially spark totally new friendships, which shows the power of games.
6 Rui❀n: Little Big Planet☂
On the outside, Little Big Planet just looks incredibly cute and innocent, so how on earth can a game like that possibly ruin a friendship? Well, this game is one that can quite easily have you going insane at the same time as having fun, which leads to fallouts. In this game, you have to rely upon your friends to help get y𒁏ou to the end of every level, and that doesn't always go to plan. Attempting to do this, while you share lives can be an incredibly frustrating situation.
When one person dies, you both lose that life and it brings the pressure right up to try and complete things. It's easy to see why people ended up falling out when playing this game, no matter ꧙how much fun it can be.
5 Create: Gears Of War 3 🍸
It's refreshing to see a major franchise such as Gears of War be so focused on co-op play, as often this gets neglected by major games. While it can still be enjoyed as a singles player, working together with someone else takes Gears of War 3 to a totally different level.
Being able to head into the trenches side by side, using the chainsaws and guns to destroy your way through the Locust hordes is simply tons of fun. Rather than competing against each other, the whole aim here is to do the campaign together. Being able to save each other whe𓂃n you're in trouble and attack the game in a unique manner, playing with a friend here is such a fun𓆏 experience.
4 R🤡uin: Minecr🐟aft
Another game that might seem like an innocent one that can't create arguments is Minecraft. But much like Little Big Planet, it's very easy to have fallouts take place in this seemingly relaxed vღideo game.
This game is all about creation, and building things with friends is a great way to play. However, it is the creation process that is the tough bit and if you're building something very detailed and it all does wrong, then it's very easy to start pointing the finger. On top of that, while creating different things is the main purpose of the game, a lot of the fun comes from goiওng around and destroying them as well. So if a friend ends up knocking down your hard work, expect arguments to begin.
3 Create: Lego Series ✱
It doesn't matter which Lego video game it is, all of them are perfectly suited towards playing with friends. Being able to go through the ad𓄧venture together, with another gamer is an incredibly fun experience.
Because most of the Lego games are focused on a movie, such as Harry Potter or Star Wars, it means p൩eople can share common interests as they play. Fun for the entire family, this is a game that can bring people together no matter the age, which is another reason why it's perfect. Just as the Lego toys have brought people together, the video games are just as good at it.
2 ಞ Ruin: Mario Kart
The ideal family-friendly video game to play with anyone, Mario Kart should be tons of fun to play with friends. However, is there anything more annoying in the history of gaming than almost winning a race, only to be destroy💯ed by a shell?
Well, yes there is. The situation that's worse is when you're just about to win a race and you're destroyed by a shell that is fired at you by a friend. That's where the arguments will quickly begin. Of cours✅e, this game is all about competition. After all, it's a rꦺace and everyone wants to win, but if you're incredibly competitive then playing with friends might not be advised.
1 C🐓reate: Sup🌃er Mario Galaxy
Both the original and the sequel of Super Mario Galaxy prove that Mario games can be fun to play with a friend, unlike Mario Kart and many of his other games. While a lot of Mario's games pit people against each other, this o𝔍ne is different.
Even thoug𓆏h one player will have to do more work than the other, in these games you're able to help each other out. The fact that you can explore these incredibly detailed worlds with another friend makes this a ton of fun. Given that it is an iconic Mario game, it is brilliant to be able to enjoy that with a friend, which maꦓkes it ideal.
