The plot of many a game, a zombie apocalypse, is something we've only seen play out on the screen. Whether it be the result of an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:evil biolab corporation, a deadly reanimating disease, or nature's way of thinning the population through a Cordyceps fungus, there are plenty of reasons the zombie apocalypse might kick off.
One thing you have to ask yourself though, is what would be the best weapon to bring into such a scenario? Throughout the years video games have had some pretty solid choices when it comes to killing zombies and non-zombies alike. Here are some of the weapons we'd take along if the zombie apocalypse was unleashed.
10 Paddlesaw - Dead Rising 2 ✤
There are a lot of zombies in and around Fortune City. Knowing that, it's going to take some ingenuity from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chuck Greene to make it out alive.
Thankfully the Paddlesaw can be made with only a couple 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:chainsaws, a paddle, and a little duct tape. Twice as deadly as a normal chainsaw, plus a good amount of reach thanks to some wid👍e swings of the paddle can keep some distance between you and the zombie horde. There are some drawbacks though. It definitely looks heavy, and gas might be an issue at some point.
9 Beam Katana - No More Heroes 🍰
An odd game for sure, but Travis Touchdown brings a special weapon to the playing field as he fights off rival assassins in No More Heroes; the Beam Katan♕a.
You've seen plenty of swords in zombie apocalypse stories, and perhaps none as much as the katana. But, what if instead of a normal blade it was an energy beam? Slicing through other assassins with ease means the beam katana should have no issue cutting through zombies as well. It does run on batteries that need recharging from time to time, so watch out when your charge starts to run low.
8 🎶 Sch𝄹ockhammer X - Wolfenstein: The New Order
If🥂 blasting through armored Nazis is any hint, then the Schockhammer X would be a great weapon to keep handy during the zombie apocalypse. A fully automatic, three barreled shotgun, this weapon goes above and beyond regular shotguns.
In addition, the Schockhammer can be upgraded with a faster firing rotor, an extended magazine, and specialized ammo that ricochets off hard surfaces. Aiming definitely isn't an issue with this weapon, which makes it ideal for larger groups of the undead.
7 🐷 🐠 Energy Sword - Halo
This iconic 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Halo weapon has cꦡleaved through rival Spartans, warring Covenant, and the all-consuming Flood alike. Other than the metal grip, the Energy Sword is made entirely of focused plasma energy. Sadly this sword has the same drawback as the Beam Katana and only has a limited charge available before it fizzles out.
It's extended use as a frontline military weapon in various conflicts in the Halo universe means it's far more than just a show weapon, though. If it can melt through Spartan armor though then it should do just fine against rotten flesh.
6 Golden Gun - GoldenEye ඣ
Made from a seemingly normal collection of gilt apparel and office supplies, the Golden Gun is instantly recognizable for any fan of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:James Bond.
While not the most visually impressi🅰ve or largest weapon to take up arms against waves of zombies, it does have one special ability: every hit is a fatal one. This one-hit-kill ability made it an instant fan favorite in multiplayer matches of GoldenEye 007🅰.
5 ꩲ Head Hunter - Bulletstorm
Considering it's a zombie apocalypse, you would definitely have the urge to stay as far away from the flesh starved horde as you could. Which makes this sniper rifle a great choice for any marksman.
Bulletstorm had a lot of memorable and deadly weapons but the Head Hunter was something special. Coming already equipped with explosive ammo is reason enough, but the fact that you control the flไight of the bullet too allowed for limitless possibilities. No wasted shot, and multiple kills per shot means as long as you keꩵep some distance, the Head Hunter will treat you well.
4 💫 Fat Man - Fallout
One of the most easily recognizable weapons from the Fallout series, the Fat Man is an interesting idea for sure. A handheld catapult for a football sized nuclear warhead, its capability in a fight can 🌠be seen pretty quickly.
Launching a nuke at a group of zombies is sure to vaporize the lot of them rather quickly. Just make sure you launch it well away from yourself though, it's not necessarily the most user-friendly option, and maybe stay away from wherever you launched it too. It would be pretty stupid to die of radiation during a zombie apocalypse.
3 𝓡 BFG 9000 - Doom
The end-all weapon in the Doom series. The BFG 9000 may have various fully spelled♓-out names, but the acronym alone is enough to recall some powerful memories.
Running off Argent Energy straig💖ht from hell itself, this gun should be more than enough to send wave after wave ofও zombie back to the grave. A direct hit completely disintegrates whatever it comes in contact with, and is powerful enough to lash out with streaks of energy to damage anyone nearby as well.
2 Gravity Gun - Half-Life ♍
What happens if ammo isn't readily available, but you still don't want to get in too close? The gravity gun might be the perfect tool for the job.
Able to grab any small to medium size object and launch it at any incoming zombie at speed should be more than enough to protect yourself. It's even strong enough to shove cars, so you know it has some power behind it. A great tool for moving objects out of your way, or even building barricades, means this is an all-in-one tool for any sort of survival scenario.
1 Lancer (Gears of War🅠)
Assault rifle and chainsaw? What's not to love? The standard weapons platform of the Coalition of Ordered Governments, the Mk 1 or Retro Lancer started off with a wicked bayonet. After Insurgence day and the introduction of the thick-skinned Locust made for a new close quarters attachment necessary.
Enter the chainsaw variant of the Lancer. With the ability for medium range and up-close protection with the chainsaw bayonet, this weapon is surely the best of both ꦿworlds.
