The cursed year known as 2020 is almost at an end and... nothing is really changing. Sure, a COVID-19 vaccine is on the way and political situations across the world are in for a shakeup. But the start of 2021 will look a lot like our day-to-day lives now. Which means a lot of that pent-up stress will still need an outlet. Good thing The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is about to drop a new m🦋ode that lets you hack at those zombies all you want.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is a168澳洲幸运5开奖网: must-have VR game. Even if you're not a fan of the show, never read a comic book, or don't know who Clem is, Saints & Sinners is still a treat. It's one of the best realizations of survival horror in VR thanks to the way it handles inventory, crafting, and the realism behind its kills. There's weight to the game's weapons, especially in꧒ melee where an axe might sometimes get stuck in a Walker's skull. But that also gives the act of killing zombies a gruesome fun factor.
The developers behind Saints & Sinners have decide to lean into the appeal of the visceral combat with The Trial, a free upda🎃te for Oculus Quest that acts as a horde mode. Players will be given free rei🧜gn over a map as they take on increasing waves of zombies, with their performance in each wave giving them points. These points can then be spent on weapons or crafting material. The Trial update will release on January 20, 2021.
When I 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:preview♑ed Saints & Sinners back in 2019, the developers d🐼ropped me into a sort of horde mode scenario. It wasn't The Trial, but more like a way to mess around after the interview. They'd shown 🔴me enough of the story to give an impression, and invited me to drop into a map as they spawned every conceivable weapon in front of me. I immediately tried to dual wield shotguns, charging in like I could be as cool as Daryl or Michonne. Instead, I quickly became meat.
The Trial has more nuance to it, with some kind of balance between what weapons spawn in the beginning and what you can buy with points. The fun remains, though, as hacking through zombies can be cathartic no matter what you have in your hands. It'll also hopefully signal renewed life for S💝aints & Sinners after its nomination at The 🧔Game Awards 2020.
