The news that an official Mario movie is coming out is huge news for fans of Nintendo all around the world. The Mario series is among the most popular and b🦩eloved fr𓄧anchises in all of gaming and a perfect fit for an animated movie. With the first juicy tidbits of information about the movie finally released, you probably can't help, but wonder who all you will be seeing in this film.
While it isn't likely that every Mario character will appear, there are some mainstays that fans are hoping won't be skipped over, even if they only get to appear in a brief cameo.
10 Waluigi
Waluigi is a champion of the players and 168澳洲🥂幸运5开奖网:honestl🍸y deserves some time in the limelight. He has continually been skipped over during the Smash Bros. ann🌌ouncements so the least that Nintendo can do for our purple antagonist is put him in the Mario movie.
Waluigi could fill tons of roles, such as turning out to be the movie's true villain or just being there to help Mario and friends in a time of need, Waluigi deserves love too.
9 Wario
Wario is another Mario character that really should appear somewhere in the Mario movie. This could even just be Wario "watching" Peach's castle while they are out on an adventure or helping out the main cast.
War♛io could even bring some of his strange antics onto the big screen like snacking down on a whole clove of garlic.
8 ♔ Diddy Kong🃏
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Diddy Kong is Donkey Kong's little sidekick and it would be cruel not to have him show up alongside Donkey Kong. Even Cranky Kong managed to make it into the movie, so we bel🅺ieve that Diddy Kong should be roaming around somewhere.
Even if it's just helping DK get ready for his journey, Donkey Kong fans deserve a little love thrown their way.
7 Toadette
Toadette may not be as popular as Toad is, but female Toads do exist in the Mario world and should get a bit of screen time. Toadette is🤡 always a popular choice in Mario Party g🌊ames and she could adorn some ad♍orable merchandise for the movie.
Toadette hasn't got her own game yet, so it would be refreshing to see the character get more of a role in the Mushroom Kingdom outside of the side games.
6 ꦛ ♏ Bowser Jr.
Bow♔ser Jr. would be a great lead in to another movie, especially if they use the angle where he thinks that Peach is actually his mom. Bowser Jr. has been a fan favorite si🤡nce Super Mario Sunshine on the Gamecube and brings an interesting plot to the series.
While fans don't expect him to be carrying around a paintbrush, maybe they could finally learn who his mom is.
5 King Boo
King Boo is another popular big bad in the Mario se🧜ries, although he tends to be more bothersome to Luigi than Mario. King Boo would likely be down for helping Bowser with a grand scheme though and could be a great sub-boss in the movie.
King Boo is also a great option for a bo🍰ss for the second movie, especially 🀅if they wanted to focus on Luigi.
4 𝓀 King Bomb-Omb
If King Boo doesn't get a starring role, then the least the movie could do is throw a King Bomb-Omb cameo in. King Bomb-Omb is incredibly well known due to his status as the first star in Mario𒁏 64 where he gives Mario a monologue.
While King Bomb-Omb isn't exactly main villain material, he will always make a nice minion for Bowser.
3 Birdo
Birdo i♉s a lesser-known, but popular Mario character who would be a perfect side character for🐭 the movie. Birdo is essentially a pink version of Yoshi, but instead of laying eggs, they spit them out of their mouth.
Birdo is another top choice for a Bowse🐓r minion and would also make an appealing piece of merchandise for the movie. It would be nice to see Birdo get away from just being included in the Mario side games as well.
2 Pauline
Pauline is not going to be a main character in the movie, but since she was168澳洲幸运5开奖网: the first woman in Mario's life she does deserve a cameo. It would be a fun easter egg if fans goꦯt to see her singing her song from Super Mario Odyssey.
Even if Pauline didn't sing, she could still appear as just a regular person living in the Mushroom Kingdom or in whatever region the movie takes place.
1 Lakitu
Lakitu is the type of Easter Egg that you are likely really hoping that the writers don't miss out on. Lakitu carried around the camera in Mario 64, making him the series' official cameraman and it would be a horrible move not to put him in the movie.
By now, Lakitu has probably l🧔earned to get a better camera angle and would be thrilled to have a job recording a major motion picture.
