Warframe developer Digital Extremes continues to work on decreasing Warf🐻rame's file size in order to allow players to have enough room to stor𒀰e their other favourite games, too.
TheGamer recently had the chance to sit down with Digital Extremes for an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:exclusive🎶 interview ab꧙out Warframe on PS5. We chatted about everything from how a bug inspired Warframe's most iconic♏ mechanic to the fact that one of Warframe's lead weapons designers is apparently "drooling" over all of the ne🐽w combat features made possible by the PS5's DualSense controller.
However, we also talked about something particularly interesting that Digital▨ Extremes has been working on for quite some time: shrinking Warframe's file size while continuing to upgrade its visuals.
We asked Digital Extremes COO Sheldon 🌜Carter about how and why the studio is attempting to accomplish such a difficult feat. Imp💛roving a game's graphics is no easy task, nor is radically decreasing its file size - trying to achieve both enhancements at the same time is a juggle that most developers probably wouldn't even try to pull off.

"You need some cra♏zy slash genius engine programmers who are gamers themselves and want that," Carter says. "It’s one thing to want t⛦o be at the top end of the technology, but it’s another thing to be an end user who wants that.
"I want to have it download to my system as fast as possible, [and] I wa🐻nt to have space," Carter adds. "I’d love it if Warframe is the only game you’re playing but that’s not reality, right? We all want to have spa💙ce to play our other games. This is all of our hobby, so we want🌠 our game to be respectf𓂃ul of your hard drive capacity."
This is refreshing to see nowadays, when games like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War take up half of the Xbox Series🌞 S' entire storage capacity. Digital Extremes understands that even the most dedicated Warframe players want to dipౠ into another game every now and then, which is probably at least partially indicative of how it established such a devoted fanbase in 🌳the first place.
