Most of the missions in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Warhammer 40,000: Darktide require the team to hold out against an enemy assault while transferring important data from the battle zone. These are some of the most intense battles in the game, made all the more dangerous by the unreliable nature of Imperial technology. New players aren't given any instructions on how to fix an Auspex that's acting up in the field, either!

If your first encounter with an Auspex or a Data-Interrogator left you scratching your head as the forces of Chaos close♛d in around you, this guide will prepare you for the next time.

How To Use An Auspex

warhammer 40k scanner

If a mission requires you to deploy a Servo-Skull to scan the area, you'll need to use your Auspex soon. Follow the Servo-Skull as it floats around the area; when it emits a pulse of blue light, it's reached its destination.

Once the search area has been determined, you'll be able to equip your Auspex. It's in slot four in your loadout, and can only be used when a Servo-Skull is active.

Hold the secondary fire button, and the Auspex screen will display glowing orbs. Using the Auspex as radar, track down the location of the orbs. The best way to do this is to align yourself so that an orb is in front of you, then run ahead a few meters be𓆏fore scanning again.

When you're near the scan target (usually within melee range), the orb will glow brightly and the Auspex will repeatedly beep. Look for an object nearby that glows while you're scanning. This can be anything from a corpse to a container to a stain on the floor, so don't discount any objects!

When the target is identified, hold the primary fire button until the Auspex can properly scan the object. This takes a few seconds, so be sure there aren't any enemies coming your way! Once all the scannable objects in the search area have been identified and analyze, return to the Servo-Skull to upload the data.

In most missions, the Servo-Skull will move to a second area, where you'll have to repeat the process before continuing.

How To Use A Data-Interrogator

hacking minigame

When the team needs to hack a computer system, you'll be required to deploy Data-Interrogators at one or more objectives. Once all of the necessary equipment is in place, a timer will start. Once it completes, you'll be able to move on.

Occasionally throughout the battle, a Data-Interrogator will crash, stopping the timer and requiring one of the squad members to manually reboot it. The malfunctioning device will be highlighted with an objective marker and make a repetitive beeping sound when you're nearby.

Interact with the Data-Interrogator to bring up a screen. A square cursor will move left and right across the screen. When it's aligned with the glyph highlighted in orange, press the primary fire button. If timed correctly, the cursor will move to the next line down. Otherwise, you'll go back a step. Once you've entered a successful input on the bottom line, the Data-Interrogator will reboot and the timer will resume.

The glyphs on the screen might look like they mean something, but it they have no bearing on the puzzle - only the highlighted glyph matters, rౠegardless of whatℱ it looks like.

Rebooting a Data-Interrogator takes several seconds, even if executed perfectly. One teammate should always stand watch while someone is fixing a device; getting hit while solving th🎉e puzzle pulls the squad member out of🅘 the interface, forcing them to start over.
