Even if an enemy soldier does manage to slay a Plaguebearer, any wounds they sustain in the process are sure to become infected.
Plaguebearers are a great choice for holding your army's front lines due to their extreme resilience. Their appearance is delightfully disgusting, so if you like painting things that make you a little squeamish the Plaguebearers are a perfect choice.

Though weaker than other Daemons, Horrors have some nasty surprises up their sleeve. Pink Horrors are able to hold their own in close combat, and when they are slain they split into two Blue Horrors, ready to spew multicolored flames in vengeance! It's a good idea to have some Blue Horrors in reserve during games to take full advantage of this ability.
The Blue Horrors in turn split into Brimstone Horrors, supplied in the same box set, to further wreak havoc on Tzeentch's enemies!
