Wasteland 3 developer InXile Enterꦜtainment has confirmed that their next game will b🉐e based on Unreal Engine 5.

California-based InXile Entertainment is currently hard at work on Wasteland 3, the sequel to their wildly successful isometric RPG, Wasteland 2. That game is now due out in August 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:after a series of delays, but now we’re being told that InXile is already pla💖nning on a brand new RPG that will be made for next-gen consoles.

On top of that, it’ll use Unreal Engine 5.

The news comes via Twitter earlier this week. W🌟hen asked by a fan if InXile will use Epic’s latest engine upgrade, they responded, "We will indeed be usinꦫg Unreal Engine 5 for our next project."

But don’t expect any major announcements from InXile soon. "We’re excited to share more, although it’ll be a while," the developer cautioned, confirming that their focus is on getting Wasteland 3 out the door on time.

InXile was purchased by Microsoft at the end of 2018 and is now a first-party Xbox studio. This means that whatever InXile has planned for next-gen consoles, it’ll certainly be built for the Xbox Series X. This is our first official confirmation 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:from anyone other than Epic that Unre🌜al 5 will work with Microsoft’s next-gen console.
