's Jez Corden writes that, according to hisꦅ sources, Compulson's latest game is currently codenamed Midnight. It's a third-person action ꦓgame set in a "dark and fantastical world". However, perhaps most interestingly, the report says that it is set in the American Deep South, as opposed to the incredibly British setting of the last game.
Judging by its description, it sounds like Midnight will delve into some disturbing themes. There are humanoid monsters in various stages of mutation, and is bei🍎ng described as having a "southern gothic" feel to it. Despite this, it is described as a coming of age story.
It's good news for Xbox players who love their single-player offerings. There will apparently be no multiplayer elements within it - at least none planned right n🉐ow - and is said to have a "strong" story.
This isn't the only bit of insider news we got from Corden's report. These reports also suggest that Xbox is going all-in on its single-player offerings this generation, after many fans felt PlayStation had ൩it beat in the Xbox One and PS4 era.
