When we accept a quest from an NPC, we don't read too much into the details beforehand. It's only when you're in the midst of some bizarre situation that you realize things are getting strange. Some ⛄games are notorious for their over-the-top side missions, while others use the element of surprise in their main campaign.
One moment, you're robbing a bank, and the next, you're tasked with hunting Bigfoot. Either way, many have found themselves in awkward positions or faced ♑uncomfortable situations during their gaming journeys.𒆙 Let's take a look at some of the missions that take the cake for being the wildest of the bunch.
8 GTA 5: The Last On✅e
One of the more obscure missions on the list, this Grand Theft Auto mission has Franklin searching for a hunter in search of Bigfoot. The mission objective only appear꧋s after completing the game entirely. As Franklin looks for the beast, he eventually discovers that it is a man dressed in a costume.
Franklin can ch🎐oose to finish the bounty for the hunter by killing the man, or leave him t🍸o continue his Bigfoot cosplay fetish. There's not much else to the mission, making it even more bizarre as an endgame addition.
7 Fallout 4: Secret of Cabot൲ House ♑
The Secret of Cabot House is not just weird, but intense and intriguing. The Sole Survivor comes across Jack Cabot, who enlists their help to stop his father, Lorenzo Cabot. Lorenzo Cabot was an archaeologist who, in 1984, had found a crown that grant🅰ed him supernatural abilities. He has remained imprisoned by his son for everyone's safety, as the alien artifact🦄 has made him unstable, yet extremely powerful.
You can decide whether t🤡o help Jack keep his father imprisoned, resulting in killing him, or side with Lorenzo and free him. The entire quest is lore-heav🃏y and interesting as it unfolds.
6 Cyberpunk 2077: Dream Onಞ
Night City has multiܫple confrontations with some of the strangest NPCs you'll come across. One of the most eerie is the mission Dream On, where V meets Jefferson and Elizabeth Peralez. Having suspicions of someone messing with the operations of their political campaign, they hire V to investigate who or what could be ruining their political presence.
Upon searching the apartment, V finds a room that has multiple security taps set around the house to monitor the Peralezes'. The quest eventually leads to the discovery of a team of hackers who have been controlling the couple whenever they'd like. It ultimately ends with an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:unknown caller letting V know that🌌 they need to give up before anything else happens to Jefferson P♐eralez.
5 💦 The Soulsborne Series: Patches 𓆏
There are certainly some strange NPCs we all regret coming across, but Patches is one that eventually grew on us. Patches has gone from being a mischievo🍷us blockhead in Dark Souls to a compassionate friend in Elden Ring. The character also had a lot of growth between entries, even if some of his progress was offscreen.
Learning about the relationship Patches had with Greirat in Dark Soﷺuls 3 was one of the first signs that Patches was not just an annoying NPC merchant, but rather a caring friend who looks out for those he admires.
Patches' appearance in Elden Ring was one of the best surprises of the entire game for a good reason. Although his idea of fun is usually at our expense, he has one of the best character arcs of the 🌄entire series.
4 ꧂ Fa🍒llout 3: Walking With Spirits
In the Point Lookout DLC, the Walking With Spirits quest places the Lone Wanderer in a trippy situation. After ingesting Punga Seeds, you must journey to the Sacred Bog to be initiated into the Tribals 💙of the Ark and Dove Cathedral.
The Punga Seeds cause you to experience scary hallucinations throughout the journey, including witnessing friendly NPCs slaughtered and left for dead and inanimate objects mocking your existence. The trip to the Sacred Bog is one of the most memorable and frightening moments of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout 3.
3 Fable 3: 📖The Game 𝔉
While exploring a random house, the Hero encount♋ers three hooded figures murmuring abouꦇt a game they plan to play. Although the game's title isn't mentioned, it plays similarly to Dungeons & Dragons, except you must play as the main character of their story. The three Dungeon Masters improvise the entire questline, as you move around the board game.
Playing an RPG inside an RPG is already a wacky concept, but the different improvisations the three Magi of Great Power devise are𒊎 even♍ more ridiculous. Who would have thought that a video game would have you killing waves of fire-breathing demonic chickens of doom?
2 ꦓOblivion: The Dark Brotherhood ღ
While the questline involves several 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:moments of chaos, from the sudden appearance of Lucien Lachance at midnight to the summoning of the Night Mo🌳ther, it's a rollercoaster ride of unpredictable wackiness. The Dark Brotherhood cult is one of the most prominent in the Elder Scrol♋ls series, displaying its deranged ideals heavily in Oblivion.
Murdering countless no🌳bles along the way isn't the only troublesome aspect of the questline. There are plot twists that make you question if continuing to please the Night Mother is worth the blood on your hands.
1 Elden Ring:✃ The Dung Eater ඣ
In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring's opening cutscene, the narrator shouts "The Loathsome Dung Eater!" as if it's meant to inspire fear. Most Tarnished ignore the warning and laugh at the idea of a man who eats dung. It isn't until he appearꩵs across one of the halls at the game's hub tha you start to wonder about him.
Throughout the questline, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dung Eater proves to be one of the most disgusting 💧and evil entities, sending the Tarnished to do his biddi𝔉ng.
The Loat♛hsome Dung Eater questline ties into the main story if you decide to help the Dung Eater throughout their journey. You can follow the Dung Eater's teachings and achieve what is considered the most horrid ending of the game, ending the Golden Order and leaving the reviled curse to last eternally, defiling all corpses and leaving them to suffer even after death.
