Link is known for finding quirky and iconic items and weapons throughout the entire 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda series. Every once in a while, though, you'll come across something that just doesn't seem right. Everyone expects Link to carry his trusty Master Sword and Hylian Shield, but when he pulls out a golden pile of poo or a half-bird-half-man cosmic horror monster, it makes you question what the heck the developers were thinking.

All of these weird items aren't necessarily bad or useless, although several are, but they just seem kind of out of place when it comes to The Legend of Zelda universe.

10 Zora's Flippers

The-Legend-Of-Zelda-Zoras-Flippers

An item that really doesn't seem weird is where the list of weird items from The Legend of Zelda kicks off. Flippers really aren't that strange in and of themselves, but the fact that Link requires them to swim is somewhat. Why does having flippers determine whether Link knows how to swim?

And are they actually Zora's flippers? Did he rip them from his body and present them to Link? If they aren't flippers that are from Zora, why would an aquatic being be swimming around with an extra set? This item raises so many questions.

9 Spirit Train ꦯ

The-Legend-Of-Zelda-Spirit-Tracks-Train

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass are two controversial games in the franchise. Most people either love them or hate them, and it's for good reason too. When traveling around the overworld, the main mechanic in both games involves using a vehicle. In Phantom Hourglass, you captain a boat, so that's not too unusual. But in Spirit Tracks, you conduct a train.

This is one of those items in The Legend of Zelda series that seems a little out of place. Link as a train conductor doesn't really seem to fit his style. There are tons of different things 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Link can ride i𒀰n the many Zelda games, but the Spirit Train has to be the weirdest.

8 🍨 The Stepladder 🅘

The Legend Of Zelda Stepladder

OK, seriously, a stepladder? When the Hero of Time looks all but defeated, he reaches into his bag for his ace in the hole, the only item he knows to be able to get him out of this mess… A stepladder! This would have actually made sense in Ocarina of Time when Link as🌟 a child, or maybe even in The Minish Cap. Not here.

On top of it just being a weird item to ha🉐ve, how does somebody just carry a ladder around while questing, fighting monsters, and saving princesses? It kind of reminds you of that guy who was playing Dungeons & Dragons for the first time, and bought a 10-foot ladder𓃲 as part of his starting equipment. Sure, it would most likely come in handy at some point in time, but how are you supposed to carry that, buddy?

7 🐼 Golden Bee ꦛ

The-Legend-Of-Zelda-Golden-Bee

Throughout The Legend of Zelda games, Link has different animals and creatures that help him through his journey. In the N64 games, Link has a fairy that helps him, while in several others he has his trusty horse, Epona. But in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of 🙈Zelda: A Link💃 to the Past and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Link can acquire a golden bee. That&r🔴squo;s right, a bee.

In A Link to the Past, the golden bee is caught using a bug-catching net and is stored in a bottle. It's found only in the Ice Cave after you dash into the fairy statue. When released from the bottle, the bee will attack enemies and stay by Link’s side for a decent amount of time. It can then be caught again and stored for the next adventure — and it really kicks butt, too.

6 Boomerang

the-legend-of-zelda-links-awakening-boomerang

The Boomerang can be found in nearly every game in The Legend of Zelda series. Because it's a staple, it doesn't feel particularly odd. But if you really stop and think about it, what the heck is a sword-fighting, shield-carrying Hylian doing with a boomerang, of all things?

The Legend of Zelda was released in 1986, right in the middle of the Australian culture craze of the 1980s — and the boomerang did originate in Australia. So, next time you chuck a boomera🅘ng in The Legend of Zelda games, think how out of place it is compared to most other items in your inventory.

5 🅠 ♓ Eyeball Frog

The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time Eyeball Frog

This oddity is part of a trading quest where Link needs to play courier to NPCs all over the world in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. After trading a prescription to King Zora, he🌼 gives you the Eyeball Frog, which "spoils" in three minutes. So, this thing is a frozen dead frog?

The fact that it is called the Eyeball Frog is also a creepy thing to think about. It implies that this dead and frozen frog is on its way to get its eyeballs harvested by the recipient of the item, the Lake Scientist. Spoiler alert: the item Link gets from the Lake Scientist is the "World's Finest Eye Drops."

4 Hestu’s Gift 🐟🦂

The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild Hetsus Gift

It’s poop. Golden poop. In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:T🔯he Legend of Zelda: Breath of꧃ the Wild, there is a side quest to collect Korok Seeds throughout the world. There are a whopping 900 Korok Seeds to collect in total, and as you turn them in to Hestu, he will grant you w🐽eapon, shield and, inventoryꦗ upgrades. That is, until you collect them all.

After coll𝄹ecting 900 Koroꦯk Seeds, Hetsu will give you “A gift of friendship," and according to the description, the big golden pile of poo smells bad. The only known use for it is when you return to Hetsu with Hetsu’s Gift, he will dance for you. What a load of poo.

3 Tingle Tuner 𝐆

The-Legend-Of-Zelda-Tingle-Tuner

Nintendo is known for putting digital versions of it🔴s consoles in games. In most Pokemon games, you can find a Nintendo console in your room, and in WarioWare games, you can find references to Nintendo’s Game & Watch systems. So, it isn’t much of a stretch that Nintendo put a Game Boy Advance in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker in the form of an item called Tingle Tuner. Couldn’t have made the name a little less weird sounding, Nintendo?

The Tingle Tuner is used by connecting your Game Boy Advance to your GameCube, and it provides Link with some cool bonuses and abilities. Link can purchase items, plant bombs, and get other random bonuses and discounts when ♈used in certain places throughout the world. But, even though it is a Nintendo game, it does seem a bit odd that Link has a handheld video game console to♛ play with.

2 Kidnapped Chi💜ld

The-Legend-Of-Zelda-Kidnapped-Child

Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link is an odd game on its own, but when you add in the fact that at one point in the game Link picks up a small child like it is an item he just found, it gets odder. The Kidnapped Child is part of a quest that ends with a fight w🌳ith a Lizaflos, after which he quite literally picks 🌠up the child.

The way the game was coded, the Kidnapped Child is a trigger to complete the quest, but instead of the child disappearing, or maybe following you, it is picked up ❀like an item. Why does 🎐Link need to hold up the Kidnapped Child like a trophy?

1 Ooccoo

Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess Link Ooccoo

Not only is this half-bird, half-human, amalgamation completely terrifying, you also have to run into her multiple times throughout Twilight Princess. You can find her hiding in pots in almost all the dungeons in the game, and once you find her, you can call on her to take you out of the dungeon. Once you us Ooccoo leave a dungeon, Ooccoo Jr. appears in your inventory, and you're able to use him to warp back inside the dungeon.

Ooccoo Jr. is even cre꧙epier t꧂han its bigger counterpart. This little guy is just a floating head with very odd wing-like appendages in place of ears. How does he grow his body?
