Ooblets, Glumberland's monster-taming life sim hybrid game, finally launched on Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch in September 2022 after a few years of being an Early Access title. The titular Ooblets are friendly creatures born from seeds given to individuals by an Ooblet of the same species and rarity.

Ooblets prefer to partici🤪pate in dance battles rather than battles that involve any physical altercations. While the majority of these creatures are adorable, there is a handful of them that stand out due to their appearance. There may not be many, but this selection of Ooblets is definitely the weirdest.

10 Oogum

oogums ooblet and backward limbo

Oogum is one of the first weird-looking Ooblets you see, and it's somewhat reminiscent of the Chia species from Neopets if it had more intense eyes. According to Oogum's summary in the game, despite their adolescent appearance, they are not adolescent Ooblets.

Backward Limbo, Oogum's signature move that it gains at level three, lowers its team's warm-up time by one turn for the rest of the match. This doesn't help Oogum look any less like an adolescent Ooblet, as its image on the card looks like it could be seen shopping at a Hot Topic in the mid-2000s.

9 Legsy

legsy ooblet

O🤪nce almost named Amblobious, Legsy is an Ooblet that looks like a fish that just grew legs and feet, and that simplicity is what helps makes it weird. Sure, there are plenty of other simple Ooblets resembling things like mushrooms and birds, but Legsy i🌟s more offputting compared to the others.

From Angkze's summary, we can infer that these Ooblets are relatively fearless and prone to destructive behavior. Still, there doesn't seem to be much else known about these semi-aquatic creatures. Its legs also look a bit more birdlike than you might expect, although it seemingly has no other birdlike qualities.

8 Quabbo

axolotl and quabbo ooblet

According to their summary in the game, for s🥂ome reason, the Quabbo is "inquisitive yet unopinionated" and resemble ax☂olotls similar to Angkze. However, it seems weird to expect any Ooblet to have strong opinions, and there is no mention of Quabbos being semi-aquatic.

Quabbos signature moves are all about manipulating hype and fluster, being able to clear or steal the opposing team's hype, or converting their own team's fluster into points. These moves are useful when competing against Ooblets, who focus on gaining hype and flustering their opponents, as they can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:help turn ꦇa difficult da▨nce battle around.

7 Spuddle

spuddle ooblet and risky shift

Spuddle is another one of the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:weird-looking Ooblets you see because it is in the crowd during dance battles. Because of its appearance, it always sticks out like a sore thumb when among the res꧟t of the Ooblet-filled crowd.

The Spuddle look like humanoid potatoes and are apparently "complex and mysterious" due to their signature moves having little to no beat cost, but all have a chance to disadvantage thei💙r team. Due to its co🧔lor, the unusual variant of Spuddle looks even more like a potato than the common or gleamy variant. Too bad none of its moves are potato-themed.

6 Hermble

hermble ooblet and hokeyokay

Most Ooblet summaries may be brief, but Hermble may have the shortest. The only information about this strange penguin and Frankenstein-like Ooblet is that it "tries really hard." While it can be hard to discern what this means initially, iꦗt becomes more apparent when Hermbles participate in dance battles.

Hermbles signature moves involve the team sacrificing their points for other benefits, such as drawing a new card, stunning opponents, or gaining more beats. These moves can be especially helpful at the start of a battle before gaining any points since points can't go any lower than zero.

5 Tamlin

lisa simpsom, lofty, and ooblet tamlin

Tamlin is weird because it looks like a rip-off version of Lisa Simpson from The Simpsons and somewhat similar to Lofty from Ni No Kuni 2, although Tamlins can't transform into dragons. The Tamlin body resembles Lisa's dress and Lofty's bo, and it is more similar to a shell due to the holes the Tamlin puts its arms through.

While there isn't much more information available about Tamlin, another notable aspect is that it can use the babbify technique to make the player tiny for a day. Not a helpful technique for dance battles, but still an interesting one.

4 Snurfler

ooblets snurfler and zoidberg

If you're a Futurama fan, you may notice that Snurfler kind of looks like a mini version of Dr. Zoidberg the Decapodian. Unfortunately, none of the colors of any of Snurflers variants even come close to the same color as the crustacean clinician of the future.

Snurflers are also interesting Ooblets in that they're lousy dancers but have a knack for finding Gembers, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a type of currency, with all three of their signature moves increasing the likelihood that they will be produced. Its level three move has a 70 percent chance of finding Gembers. Snurflers may not be the best dancers, but at least they're still useful.

3 Angkze

mr. men and angkze ooblet

Angkzes are quite strange and look as if they've come straight out of the Mr. Men and Little Miss book series, and they immediately took on an appearance somewhat similar to an axolotl. However, they have a much bigger nose than most characters in the series. Angkzes are semi-aquatic Ooblets that are allegedly similar to Legsies but are much less destructive creatures.

Because summaries of each Ooblet featured in Ooblets are so brief, there isn't much more information about Angkzes that makes them stand out more, although they do like Soggy Balloons for some reason, which are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:required to challenge them to a dance battle.

2 Gullysplot 💛

gullysplot ooblet and gnocchi

The summary of Gullysplot acknowledges how weird they are, as researchers can't decide whether they belong to the fungi-type, jelly-type, or melon-type families because they have aspects of all of them on their heads and bodies.

The signature moves of the Gullysplot all focus on gaining extra beats on the following turn, so it's a great Ooblet to have on your team when you want to use several powerful moves at once that have high beat costs. Gullysplots also love Pneumatic Gnocchi, which doesn't reveal anything about their origins, but it does at least confirm that pasta is likely their favorite type of food.

1 Gloopy Long Legs 🉐

gloopylonglegs common and gleamy variant

Gloopy Long Legs aren't just the Ooblets with the longest legs, but also the Ooblets with the longest name, and it will probably stay that way unless the developers decide to create an Ooblet with an even longer name in the future.

Gloopy Long Legs are what would happen if a jellyfish grew very long legs and big eyes, decided to wear boots because it didn't want its feet to get dirty, and preferred to live in marshes and swamps instead of the ocean. All this weirdness combined into just one Ooblet unquestionably makes Gloopy Long Legs one of the weirdest Ooblets around.
