Wang "Weiyan" Xiang has been dropped by Rogue Warriors and banned from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:League of Legends e🍨vents for match-fixing. He won't be allowed to stream or take part in any League of Leওgends Pro League (LPL) events.

Weiyan is the Rogue Warriors jungler and rose to prominence f🦄rom t🐽he lower leagues, having played for the Rogue Warriors sister team, the Rogue Warriors Shark. He had a relatively quick journey through the ranks, only joining the organization in February 2019. By May 2019 he had already made it into the main roster as a substitute. In 2020 he took over from Haro as the first choice jungle in the team.

According to , Rogue Warriors releasꦍed Weiyan after finding out about the match-fixing. In a statement, the LPL said, "The investigations by the club has determined that Rogue Warriors player Wang Xiang (id: weiyan) conducted activities during LPL Spring 2020 competitions that seriously violated the team's rules and disciplines." They go on to say, "Hereby, based on longstanding zero tolerance, the organization will officially end Wang's 'player service contract' and submit relevant documents to the league."

After being released by Rogue Warriors, the LPL Discipline Committee issued its own punishment and also fined the team. Weiyan will be banned until March 27, 2022, and won't be allowed to take part in any streaming or competitive🔜 play. Rogue warriors were also fined $420,000 because it was their responsibility to ensure their players do⛎n't break any rules.

The issue came to light when a screenshot from a Weibo account showed Weiyan talking about match-fixing against Victory Five and Dominus Esports. After being dropped from the team, Weiyan gave a statement to Weibo saying that while he originally accepted the offer to fix the matches, he di🌠dn't take the money and eventually rejected the offer.

There's no doubt that Rogue Warriors did the right thing by dropping him as soon as they found out about his behavior. The LPL also had no choice but to take action and issue the ban. There has to be zero tolerance on match-fixing and the LPL probably wanted to make an example out of him to deter other p﷽layers from cheating. At least the ban is for a reasonable amount of time, giving๊ Weiyan a chance to eventually return.

Weiyan will be out of the game for the next two years and even when the ban is lifted, teams may be hesitant to sign him because of his reputation. In the meantime, it would make se💜nse for him to try getting into another esport and maybe make a fresh start.
