With all the challenges of wrangling cattle, a huge cast of characters, and a lengthy journey, The Cowboys would benefit from the RPG tr♐eatment on many levels.
As great of a job as the movie does, it would be awesome to have the freedom to get to know characters more intimately through RPG style dialogue chains. What many consider to be the best western of all time, Once Upon A Time In The West features all the in👍gredients of a great RPG story.
A wide open world plagued with issues that, by necessity, bring the characters together. A strong, silent protagonist, whose mystery and intrigue make you want to keep watching. A comic relief character whose rough around the edges who wins your heart in the end, and a villain you love to hate, and hate to love. No doubt, the film has inspired many stories 🌸and games𒅌 since release, it makes all the more sense to turn it into an RPG.
2 🌠 Th🎉e Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
It's a crime that so many great franchises starring Bruce Campbell get canceled before they have a chance to flourish. The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. is one such example. A western themed story with a twist, the show added elements of fantasy and science fiction, giving it a steampunk feel and setting it apart from other shows of its kind.
