Wizards of the Coast has finally explained exactly what next year's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic the Gathering Innistrad: Double Feature will include, and it's borrowing some elements from the popular Double Masters sets.

Innistrad: Double Feature is a supplementary set launching in January that combines cards from the two recent Innistrad sets, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Midnight Hunt and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Crimson Vow, into a single, draftable experience. Considering Crimson Vow was split off from Midnight Hunt during development, the two are somewhat designed to fit together. That almost makes Double Feature the original 'intended' way to experience the sets.

In a blog post by Wizards of the Coast, it was revealed that Double Feature will also be taking a page from Double Master's book where every pack has at least two guaranteed rare or mythic rare cards (over the usual one in a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Draft booster). One of these will always be from Midnight Hunt, while the other will always be fr🌌om Crimson Vow.

A third card will always be a foil "Silver Screen" card – the set's 'Showcase' frame that renders cards in a low-contrast, movie-style black and white style. Though this one is confirmed to always be a foil, any card in the booster pack could come in its Silver Screen style, regardless of rarity. The showcase frames from Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow (Equinox, Eternal Night, and Fang) won't be appearing.

Finally, there will always be at least two doubl🌱e-sided c♈ards, one from Midnight Hunt and the other from Crimson Vow.

The💫 full breakdown of e🃏ach 15-card booster pack is:

  • Four Midnight Hunt commons
  • Four Crimson Vow commons
  • Two Midnight Hunt uncommons
  • Two Crimson Vow uncommons
  • One Midnight Hunt rare or mythic rare
  • One Crimson Vow rare or mythic rare
  • One foil Silver Screen card

The weird thing about Double Feature is that this isn’t a curated compilation of the best of both sets. It's literally the entirety of both sets combined into one, making it one of, if not the, biggest Magic set e𒁃ver released with a whoppin💦g 534 cards.

Another funny point is that the land Evolving Wilds appeared in both Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow with the same art, but different set emblems and collector's numbers... both of which appear in Double Feature. Whether this means Evolving Wilds will appear twice as much as another common hasn't been confirmed.

Innistrad: Double Feature will be exclusive𝔍 to partnered game stores when it launches on January 28, 2022.
