There are reality shows based on just about anything nowadays, most of which end up being watched by thousands if not millions of people. Turns out we all love watching people bake cakes, sew dresses, or even just live in a house. If all of those things can have their own reality shows, then why can't The Sims?
That was clearly a thought that crossed someone's mind a while ago as later this week, that exact concept will make its televisual debut. The Sims Spark'd is a reality show that pits the creativity of 12 talented Sims players against each other. The winner of The Sims Spark'd will take home an impressive $100,000, so nothing to be sniffed at. However, some people are not yet convinced that watching people play The Sims will make for good television. Its creators have assured potential viewers that it will, and 𒈔for anyone who is interested in giving the show a try, there are a couple of places to watch it.
The first of the show's four episodes will debut on TBS this Friday, July 17, 2020, at 11pm EST. Episodes will then air on TBS each Friday night at the same time up until and including the finale on August 7, 2020. The Sims has a global fanbase, so limiting viewership of Spark'd to the US wouldn't be smart. That's🅰 why the show's creators haven't done that.
Anyone without access to TBS will have to wait a few days to catch new episodes of Spark'd, though. Each episode of the show will be added to the Buzzfeed Mul🤪tiplayer YouTube at 11 am EST the Monday after it airs on TBS. So the first episode will drop on July 20, 2020, and then every Monday morning until the finale makes it to YouTube on August 10, 2020ꦑ.
