As 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:LeBron James proved last week, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:anyone can be added to MultiVersus. I mean, sure, having been involved with a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Warner Bros. property helps. But there are still a whole lot of franchises that are yet to see any representation. And hey, if it turns out to be anything like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Smash Bros., perhaps 𒐪the devs will be able to branch out into diꦗfferent properties.
This 💟week, we ponder the question that all platform-fighter fans have beꦬen asking themselves recently: who should be added to MultiVersus next?
Bobby B, Game of Thrones
Rhiannon Bevan, News Editor
When the devs are brainstorming for more Game of Thrones rep in MultiVersus, King Robert Baratheon (King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm) probably won’t be the first name to come up. No, we’re much more likely to get Jon Snow and Daenerys than the fan favourite monarch. But MultiVersus has already proven that it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and should continue this trend by adding Bobby B to the mix. Better yet, you can even get Mark Addy to reprise his role. Actually, you should only do this if Addy is willing to come back. No one else could do him justice. No, I don’t know what his moveset 🦩would be. I just want to s🌜ee him fight Shaggy.
Mordecai and Rigby
George Foster, Lead News Editor
I could be boring and♏ just say I want every single one of the Crystal Gems added into MultiVersus, but let’s give another unrepresented show the spotlight - Regular Show. Leading slackers Mordecai and Rigby would make for a perfect duo fighter like Tom and Jerry, with their moveset being based on doing💯 chores around the park, using the Power Glove, sending out karate-chopping baby ducks, and performing guitar solos without instruments. Those are all just a bunch of references to Regular Show, but their moveset practically writes itself.
We al💦so desperately need a “you pissed me off” taunt. Make it happen💦.
Elsie, The Prince and the Showgirl
Stacey Henley, Editor-in-Chief
I have a bit of a complicated relationship with MultiVersus. I don’t really like the idea of IP soup and games being sold to us off the back of ‘it’s them from that thing!’, but I love MultiVersus. But also I hate LeBron James being in it to promote IP Soup: The Movie. But also also, my favourite Warner Brothers character (and favourite character full stop) is already in it: Harley Quinn. This all makes it hard for me to point to a character I love and say ‘put them in the fighting game with Bugs Bunny’, but hey, I don’t pick The Big Question. Don’t ask me buddy, I just work here. However, I’d prefer to see Warner Bros. go classic with its back catalogue, stretching back to the Golden Age of cinema, which is why I’m suggesting Elise. She's an average Marilyn Monroe character in an average Marilyn Monroe movie, but she’s the only Monroe character Warner Bros. has the rights to. It’s not my fault Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is a Fox movie. I don’t have a serious suggestion for the IP soup. I would like Marilyn Monroe to beat up Batman though.
Osmosis Jones, Osmosis Jones
Joe Parlock, Tabletop Editor
Osmosis Jones may not have been the biggest box office smash ever (it was a complete failure when it was released in 2001), yet it was popular enough to spawn Ozzy & Drix, a spinoff in 2004. Ozzy would be the perfect fit for Multiversus - he has a distinct visual style thanks to being an amorphous white blood cell, and his gooeyness could make for an unpredictable fighter somewhat similar to fellow shapeshifter Jake. His wisecracking cop persona would also give him some amazing dialogue, especially if they're able to coax Chris Rock back into the role.
Neo, The Matrix
Amanda Hurych, Evergreen Content Lead
Big confession time. I haven’t played MultiVersus. Yet. I’m too busy PowerWash Simulating. However, the game is definitely on the horizon for me, and it would be sweet as heck if I could jump into it and start playing as a character from one of my favourite movies of all time. I don’t even anticipate winning all that often. I would be too enamoured with the hilarity of seeing Garnet or Shaggy brawling with Neo. Visually-engrossing fights are basically The Matrix’s bread and butter. Can you imagine how cool it would be to see Neo’s kung fu/jiu-jitsu moves pitted against Bugs Bunny’s zany, cartoonish violence? I can’t, which is why 𓄧we need this to happen.
Space Ghost, Space Ghost Coast To Coast
Vaspaan Dastoor, News And Evergreen Editor
Like Amanda, I haven't even played MultiVersus either. I don't even care for Smash-likes, or even IP-gasms like Fortnite. But what I do love is corny cartoon characters suddenly switching personalities and becoming talk show hosts. I remember the first time I watched Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The rather generic superhero that I didn't mind suddenly became a quick-witted talk show host. It felt like a different version of the same character from another universe. Clearly, he'd fit right in.
Jack, Samurai Jack
Axel Nicolás Bosso, Evergreen Editor
Come on, I’m not even asking for something that unexpected. We need some cool animated characters that use swords or sharp weapons, and who’s better than my boy who went to the future and fought countless creatures? While I love Samurai Jack&rs💦quo;s last season and the look of the chara🌌cter, I won’t mind if the devs decide to go with his classic outfit. Just let him use his signature weapon, some utility equipment, and have Aku or the Scotsman make a small appearance and that’s it. My future MultiVersus main.
