For nearly a quarter century now, Waluigi has not been holding back. Waluigi has been synonymous with a sort of silent-film-evil flair since his days in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mario Tennis, where he would do anything, anything, to win the Moonlight Cup. In his very first game with Nintendo, Waluigi introduced a style of being kind of like Wario, but more shaped like Luigi. He found that his style of playing minigames was so bizarre that he’d get laughs even when other characters were killing it in Lift Leapers. As the character of Waluigi, later to be popularized in memes, would forever have pointy knees and elbows. Afte🔴r all, Waluigi thought, basking in the players&🐈rsquo; laughter, “Wah hah hah waah!"
Nintendo never quite figured out what to do with Waluigi. He appeared in not-that-bad games like Mario Party 2 and not-that-good games like Mario Party DS. Most of the games simply became cartridges you store in a plastic bin that you see once every few years when you move apartments. But Waluigi’s most die-hard fans, many of whom played Mario Party over and over on Nintendo GameCube while baked, are deeply appreciative🐓 of the series. And I have to admit, it is one of the few series that utilize Waluigi’s angry attitude and hat with an upside-down L.
But I’m still judgmental of a person that, honestly, is not a mainline Mario character. Wario, I feel like we can say ‘okay’ on. He was in Mario Land 2 and also he’s in Smash, which is, like, a big deal. But I don’t think Waluigi is good at all. My reasoning is more or less that I find him annoying, but I won’t really dig much deeper than that. Does one have to? Even though he makes millions laugh. Also, remember how Waluigi﷽ was Wario’s brother but now in the canon they’re just friends? What happened there? Even though that’s a fun fact, I’ll still think that Waluigi doesn’t really have a place in the Mario world.
Of course, one could argue that if Waluigi werಞen’t a valuable character, he wouldn’t have spawned the Rabbid version of himself, Bwaluigi. However, I still argue that Waluigi is too annoying to break into big triple-A Mario games outside of Easter Eggs, which, I’ll grant, are fun to unlock. I just don’t like Waluigi. No real reason ever given, but this is going to be a long article. And I feel like he should read this and know it. It makes sense for me, a normal person, to publiclཧy write about it. He once said of his detractors, "Ha ha ha! Next time. I could have won!"
Maybe I’m one of those people he could’ve won against. But maybe not. He’s a villain but also a loser and nobody is scared of him, except for his skeleton, which has to be wไeird. People play him ironically and even if they say that’s not true, I’ll still be weird about it because Waluigi became a character right after the moment in my teens when all the magic disappeared. The fact other people may like him or have grown up with him is foreign to me and makes 🧸me feel lonely like I’m standing in the snow and looking in on a happy family having dinner.
Every time Waluigi says something that’s basically a different spin on Wario’s style, I want to shout at the screen: Why are you like this? What convinced everyone it was a good idea? And, like, I know that the name ‘Waluigi’ is actually a fun pun in Japanese, but I still don’t love that he’s there and I’m almost mad when I pass by him in a menu i🌞n Mario Kart. I think his skeleton would give me bad dreams.
Waluigi, both the tennis player and board game contestant he plays in Mario Party, only occasionally displays the traditional Nintendo family values. He’s a send-up of old-timey evil villains who’d tie people to railroad tracks, and that’s actually extremely dangerous in reality. But he’s also, despite his foibles, a good friend to Mario and Luigi. Mario Party may have the fans’ blessing, but Waluigi will still do anything, anything to win a ga📖me of tennis. After all: wah hah hah waah!
