Playing digital pinball keeps getting better and better as Zen Studios announces Williams Pinball: Volume 6 coming soon to , , , Windows 10, and . Mobile users will continue to have♉ access to the broad range of tables as well as the new ones through the Williams Pinball app on iOS💙 and Google Play.
All three of the “new” tables are in fact well-known Williams and Bally pinball classics adapted for a modern age, featuring Funhouse, Space Station, and Dr. Dude and His Excellent Ray.
Funhouse
The Funhouse table is well known among the classic pinball community, with only🐓 10,750 tables ever produced. Typically, these tables are only seen in the hands of collec𝔉tors, featuring the iconic ventriloquist dummy Rudy as he taunts you throughout a fantastic amusement park. Players navigate a world full of Mystery Mirrors, Wind Tunnels, Crazy Steps, Superdogs, Trapdoors, Gangways, Hidden Hallways, and Rudy’s own Hideout.
Space Station
Another outstanding addition to the Williams collection is Space Station, which was designed in 1987 by Barry Oursler as a sequel to a table named Space Shuttle. This table is by far a superior offering with great improvements on the first game, and it has all the retro vibes of 2001: A Space Odyssey. 𝓰Players will work at the space station to dock space shuttles, inspect meteors, and avoid certain doom. This is going to be a real treat!
Dr. Dude’s Kinetic Clinic in Dr. Dude and His Excellent Ray
Wanna be cool? The goal of this table is quite literally to science your way to coolness and become a Super Dude. Players work to collect ingredients of ultimate “hipness” in increase the Dude-O-Meter. Everything about this table is so great, and it is great to see this game come to life once more. Interestingly, this table has been adapted before for The Pinball Arcade game on several platforms, but tꦍhe license was lost and now in the hands of Zen Studios. Given that they do great work, this is nothing but good🐼 news.
As always, these Williams tables wiꦗll launch with the option to be played as both classic simulations and re-mastered versions. This means that players who want to experience the games in their original forms will see all the lights and sounds as originally intended, while the enhanced features can be toggles on for a modern overhaul.
Th🌺ere is no release date in sight for Volume 6, but we hope it arrives soon!
