Announced by publisher DotEmu this morning, a new trailer shows off a super shot glimpse of what you can expect when booting up the game. I'd normally be agitated at how brief this is, but a demo is right around the corner.
You should give it a shot, too. If you're a fan of arcade sports games from the 90s (or just really miss the Neo Geo), Windjammers 2 will likely scratch that itch. It's fast-pace💖d, loaded with style, and a white knuckle thrill between friends.
The demo is bound to be the same one I played at PAX East this year, so you can read our preview to get a better idea of what to expect. Needless to say, Windjammers 2 is shaping up to be much more than just a simple sequel. It keeps the spirit of the origi♕nal 𝔍alive while simultaneously bringing it into the modern era.
I'm not so sure if this will be as great of an update as Streets of Rage 4, but it certainly evokes a lot of the same style. That's some high praise, especially since the return of Sega's legendary brawler series is still the best game of this y𝓡ear so far.
