Changes are coming to the Microsoft Store! A report from and a new message directly from Xbox confirm that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Game Pass games and downloads from the Microsoft Storefront are going to get easier to manage thanks to unrestricte🦂d access to installation folders. This will make both modding and managing your Microsoft games a lot easier.

Right now, games installed via the Microsoft Store head to the WindowsApps folder which has restricted access. You can work around it using Windows commands, but it's a pain🎶 and can make modding difficult if not impossible. It also means that all your games have to be installed on the same drive as your operating system, which might not be the best use of your limited storage space.

However, that will soon change. Xbox is currently testing an updated version o꧑f the Xbox App that will let users install games to any folder or drive they want in the exact same way that Steam does. This will get around the WindowsApp folder's restrictions by simply letting you install games to an unrestricted folder, and it'll also let you install games to a dedicated game drive.

“With great🌳 PC games like Back 4 Blood, Age of Empires IV, Forza Horizon 5, and Halo Infinite on day one with Game Pass, we wanted to provide players with more options to customize their experience in the Xbox app,” said Jason Beaumont, partner director of experiences at Xbox. “We’ll continue to share updates as we launch additional features.”

Xbox Insiders should be able to get their hands on a beta version of the Xbox App update soon, along with several other features including the ability to browse a game's install file, move gꦫames to new folders, and also verify and repair existing game installations.

The Verge said to expect this update to arrive before December 8, which coincidentally happens to be the day 168🐼澳洲幸运5开奖网:Halo Infinite's free-to-play multiplayer lau🐼nches.
