We see mages cast incredible spells throughout the game, so why can't ಌthose spells be adapted into Signs? Sure, they'd be less powerful versions, but can you imagine a witcher capable of teleporting during battle? Why witchers decide to limit themselves is mind boggling.

The origins of witchers somewhat explain their rather monolithic composition - they were made to protect humanity when the race was still young, so they're all humans. Still, as humanity slowly became the dominant race 🀅on the Continent, did no one think to try creating elf or dwarf witchers?

True, t𒉰he process for making witchers is tailored to humans, but it seems strange that no elven sorcerers or dwarven warriors ever considered the possibility of adapting it. There are no hints of such an idea ever even being entertained, which seems like an odd oversight.

Witchers have the ability to meditate while out in the field. They can do this for a set period of time, and it is distinct from regular sleep (which they can still do) in that it's mean to be easier to enter and exit th🦄e trance♒ in an instant.

The question arises, though - how exactly do they perform this? It's not like witcher schools focus onᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ mental balance, and meditation is not a substitute for sleeping. While witcher bi♚ology may affect this practice, it doesn't seem like it'd be enough to properly replace a good nap.

Witchers throughout the games famously carry two swords - a steel one for humans and a silver one for monsters. On the surface, this makes sense - th🃏e steel sword is stronger and can break through armor, while silver is deadly to monsters.

However, as seen in one of the endings to The Witcher 3, it is possible to combine the two materials into a single blade. While𓆉 this particular sword is rather expensive, it seems like there would be at least one or two other witchers out there with t☂he same idea.

The Trial of the Grasses is the infamous process for creating witchers - an ordeal that only thr🅘ee in ten candidates survive. This seems like an excessively high mortality rate, and on༺e that could easily be reduced with some study and refinement.

Witchers aren't just warriors - they're also rudimentary alchemists, with some being highly skilled in the field. So why have witchers not tried finding a way to identify strong candidate who will survive? They could even use their knowledge to try modifying the Trial to make i💖t a less lethal proces𒐪s, potentially increasing the number of witchers.

Part of the "training" for witchers in the school of the wolf was sneaking past the cyclops known as Old Speartip - an exercise that saw many of the young witchers-in-training killed by the monster. This doesn't make s𒆙ense on multiple levels.

This would reduce the already small number of witchers being trained, which runs counter to the witcher school's goals. The world of the Witcher games is fulled of hatred ♛and bigotry, mostly from humans towards other races like elves and dwarves. However, this hatre🅷d is also directed towards witchers, who are dubbed mutants and freaks.

Besides the fact that all witchers are fundamentally human, ostracizing them seems like a strange choice. After all, odds are you will at some꧙ point need one to deal with a monster, be it a drowner or a nekker or a griffin. This makꦡes the continued disgust witchers receive all the more confusing.

Everything in The Witcher 3 indicates that the witcher schools are in decline. No new witchers are being made, their northern fortress is in shambles, and everyone has a gen🃏erally morose attitude towards th🏅eir future.

The witcher lifestyle is toug📖h - they roam from town to town, taking what work they can and fighting monsters with limited resources. Because of this, they tend to charge a st⛄eep fee for their services, which can turn some clients away.

But why has no town - or kingdom, for that matter - thought to simply hire a witcher on retainer? Cities should keep a professional monster slayer or two on demand. The people don't need to pay exorbitant prices to deal with monste🐷rs, and the witcher gets to have a financially stable life.

As mentioned above, witchers are in decline, despite the fact that monsters are not. Part of this is due to their recruitment methods, which is mostly done through archaic traditions like the Law of Surprise or from children sent to them 🌠to be raised as witchers.

But surely there are plenty of people out there with a bone to pick with monsters - why not recruit them? Even if they're not as skilled as witchers, a proper monster-fighting army would be extremely effective for deali♑ng with minor to intermediate threats, and could provide support when facing extremely dangerous creatures. It makes no sense that more people aren't driven to pick up arms against monsters.
