From their wonderfully told stories to their compelling quests, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Witcher games are some of the best RPG titles out there. Witcher 3, in particular, will go down as one of the best games in recent memory. Although no series is perfect, even in the incredibly detailed world of The Witcher, some things don't make sense.
There are certain inconsistencies or gaps in logic that manage to stick out when playing the games. Fans of the series have poked fun at these imperfections through the use of memes. We've decided to do the same by finding the best of those meꦰme♊s and putting them on this list.
10 The Mysterious Power Of The Crossbow ✨
The crossbow is a strange weapon in Witcher 3. This is because, as the meme suggests, it's power increases tenfold whe♍n used underwater. In reality, the crossbow should be slightly weaker (at least) underw🧸ater due to the extra resistance.
Not in The Witcher though, where the weapon kills almost every water-based enemy in one shot, whereas land creatures can🌠 withstand a lot of normal bolts. As Geralt can't use his sword or signs while swimming, the crossbow's damag🐻e boost is needed, yet it still makes no sense.
9 🌱 Geralt's Eating Habits
The dangers that come with eating raw meat won't affect Geralt, as he's immune to🃏 most diseases. Yet, he still has taste buds. So why does he never cook the meat he picks up? The igni sign could cook something easily. That is equivalent to having the power to conjure up w💞ater, but still drinking from a puddle.
Using a magical 𝄹sign for cooking purposes could be seen as a misuse of the power, however, Geralt usually works on his own, so nobody is there to tell him not to.
8 RPG Logic
One of the weirdest parts of The Witcher 3 is 𓆏h🌳ow it's possible to upgrade the armor Geralt's wearing to a high enough level where he can't wear it anymore.
It already makes no sense that Geralt can't put on armor which is too high of a level for him (what is stopping him?)ಌ. But it's especially odd when it's a set of armor that he was alreaꦡdy wearing seconds prior. It's video game logic at it's finest.
7 ✨ Scumbag Geralt
The relevance of this meme is dependant on how you play the Witcher g🃏ames, although many players will relate to it. As the meme points out, Geralt's morality can be all over the place. During cutscenes, he can bཧe kind and heroic, but in gameplay, he can go around looting everybody's things.
In the example𒀰 in the meme, maybe Geralt is just trying to make people think he is nice, yet nobody is going to accuse him of being a bad guy for accepting payment after doing his job. Plus, a lot of the time people are in their houses when Geralt is looting them, so people are goin🧸g to figure out pretty quickly that he is not actually nice.
6 𒉰 Geralt's Prioritꦦies
The brilliance of Gwent means it is a big distraction for many players during Witcher 3. Although, that makes no sense, as Geralt wouldn't spend all his time playing a card game while Ciri is being hunted down by the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wild Hunt. The Witcher would try to save his adoptive daughter as s🐼oon as possible.
Even players who aren't fond of Gwent spend significant time doing side quests when they should be trac💖king down Ciri. Geralt can become the fist-fighting champion of the world after The Wild Hunt is defeated.
5 𝄹 Must Be Some Strong Stuff
Somehow in the Witcher games, Geralt is a lightweight. You'd think with his mutations and his immunity to poisons (as the meme mentions), that it'd be hard to get him drunk. However, anyone who drinks alcohol in the games (particularly in Witcher 3) knows that's not the case. Drink one bottle of be𒈔er𒅌 or wine in the third game, and Geralt's vision gets blurry.
It's great that Witchers do get drunk though, otherwise,𝓡 that scene where Geralt, Lambert, and Eskel drunkenly dress up as Yennefer wouldn't happen.
4 🃏 Geralt Has Patient🍃 Friends
When hel✃ping evacuate mages from Novigrad, Geralt comes up against a Katakan. As a Katakan is a type of Vampire, that means they're easier to fight during the day, so many players meditate before the battle.
This meme points out how ridiculous that is. Triss, and the mages who are awaiting their freedom, have to wait hours for Geralt to finish his meditation before they can move on. The quest is titled Now or Never, so it's clear time is of the essence.♏ Geralt wouldn't w🧸aste that limited time meditating to have an easier fight.
3 𒁏 Wild Boars ✱
Most players like to play through all of the Witcher 3's main story before starting the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hearts of Stone DLC. As the expansion nee🧜ds to be challenging for a leveled up Geralt, the enemies get given high levels too (which was later heඣlped by the addition of level scaling).
This means that a lot of the enemies in the expansion are equally (or more) powerful than the deadly Wild Hunt from the main story. This meme uses the hilarious example of wild boars, who are surprisingly difficult to kill. It doesn't make sense that these simple animals can be as dangerous as the infamous Wild Hunt, yet in Witcher 3, they are.
2 🔯 Still A Great Quote 🍒
Every Witcher fan is aware of the classic evil is evil speech as it is in the books, the Netflix series, and the trailer for Witcher 3. Howe🐓ver, the creator of this meme has made a great observation about♌ why the quote doesn't make sense in the games.
With player choice heavily dictating the games' narratives, there are moments where Geralt/the player has to choose between two evils. For instance, when deciding between let🅰ting a group of orphans being killed by evil witches or allowing a spirit to wipe out a nearby village.
1 🌼 Geralt's Weakness To Heights
For multiple years people have been making fun oไf how susceptible Geralt is to fall damage. Geralt can survive injuries that would be fatal for normal men, but he can't handle small drꦿops. Even if he has the weakest legs and ankles in the world, a little fall shouldn't kill him.
Thankfully, monst🦹ers don't know about this weakꦐness. If they did, they'd all hide on top of tall hard to reach structures. One slip by Geralt when trying to get to them and the Witcher would be dead.
